What are you listening to (V2.0)

Today, I decided, is remix day. So to kick it off:

1) Stone Roses - The Remixes
2) Depeche Mode - Remixes
3) Frankie Goes To Hollywood - The Club Remixes 2000
4) Buddha Bar - VII - Sarod
5) Limp Bizkit - New Old Songs

That should entertain me at work for at least 5 of my 12 hours.

"Breathe Into Me" and "Already Over" are my two favourite songs from their first album, End of Silence. "Death of Me" and "Fight Inside" are my two favourites from their second - Innocence & Instinct. They're both excellent albums, however. Try to get the entire album, at least if you plan on listening to their first, as their albums really are masterpieces. The intro on End of Silence ties in so well with the first song etc. Love it :D

Anyway, I'm listened to The Rising - EP by David Hodges. He was the original Evanescence pianist. He left after the album Fallen was released. He produced the song Eternal on Evanescence's first album, Origin. Since then he's been in two bands - Trading Yesterday and The Age of Information as the lead singer. He's also co-written Daughtry's latest album, helped produce the song Crush for David Archuleta and has done so much more I can't list here.

This EP is amazing. The first song, The Rising, is purely instrumental. It's like rock meets electronic (Trading Yesterday/Evanescence meets The Age of Information). The rest of the songs are beautiful and well-written, as always :) Been waiting so long for this EP. Finally!
