What are you looking forward to in 2017

Probably a bit late to start this, but I'm curious regardless. What is everyone looking forward to in 2017? Whether it's games, movies, books, TV shows, a new gadget, anything.

Not much has caught my attention yet game-wise, but I hope there are some good games this year. I hope Prey is going to be good, though I have my doubts. Also interested in Cuphead, Divinity Original Sin 2, Crackdown 3 (I loved the fist one), and Frozen Synapse 2.

I'm also very curious to see what happens in VR this year.

Nioh (almost here)
Red Dead Redemption 2
Yakuza Kiwami

There are a few other games, such as Horizon Zero Dawn and For Honor, that I am interested in but these are the only ones I plan on buying day one, so far.

The only TV show I can think of that I'm waiting for is Altered Carbon. I'm a big fan of the Takeshi Kovacs books (currently reading them again) so I can't wait to see how the show turns out.

I haven't seen a release date for this yet. Is it definitely 2017?

I can't say that I'm excited for anything, perhaps Mass Effect: Andromeda. That's about it.
 
I've been working towards a dream for the last couple of years. This year I'm hoping to either achieve it or take huge steps towards it. I've been working hard and I'm hoping for the best. I feel positive.

Games wise I'm really looking forward to 3 games: Syberia 3, Outlast 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda. Thing is, I'm not prepared to pay the price for new games since in my opinion they are horribly overpriced. Hopefully I'll get one of them for my birthday.

I haven't seen like an official date when it starts but according to imdb (and lots of other sites) it is definitely this year.

So there are a few things I'm looking forward to 2017. Some of them have already come and gone, but here is the rest

Games:
Red Dead Redemption 2
Mass Effect Andromeda

Tech:
Nintendo Switch
Xbox Project Scorpio

Personal life:
Australia Secondment
Additional travels for work later this year
 
1. Becoming debt free; I'm almost there, I have one more payment on my car and that money will then go to other debts which should be paid off in a few months.

2. PlayStation 4 Pro; the plan is to get this at the end of the month (February) and maybe towards end of the year get PS VR.

3. Getting my son enrolled into a decent school to start Grade-R in 2018.
 
Ah yes, I forgot about the Scorpio!

Hopefully getting that plus a 4K tv this year. Really looking forward to that!
 
The fact that my dental issues will be sorted in the next few months, my debt is almost clear, and that by middle of next year I should be finished with my studies.
 
Finish the renovations on my house ! finish off all the little changes im doing to vorsprung ! try to have more free time on weekends,
 
Hopefully getting a job in Cape Town so that we can move back down. The grandparents would be ecstatic.
 
Gaming:
I'm looking forward to "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and "South Park: The Fractured But Hole".

Tech:
VR could take off this year but only time will tell. I'm in the market for a good speakers setup (currently I'm considering this), so that should be fun. I'd love to get my hands on a X-Point SSD to play with as well, but I doubt I'd have the bucks for it.

Personally:
I'm really hoping for less people I know dying or getting seriously sick this year :mad:
Winning the Powerball would be nice also...
