I've been playing Alan Wake almost exclusively at night... mostly cos i don't wanna be gaming while my baby is AWake (excuse the pun).
It's worked out quite nicely... i don't think the game would have quite the same impact if I was playing on a Sunday morning in a Well Lit Room (excuse the pun, again)

I need headphones, though... For now i just sit closer to the tv, and use low volume :)
I just don't wanna for out the R500+ for a decent pair of wireless headphones.
But, now i digress.

Hey, you can get some cheap headphones with the comfy padding (ring) and a decent mic for R200. It is a USB headphone, but the one I got has a super long cable, I can reach all the way across my room (2+metres) to switch off the light ;)

However, I think I'll play through Amnesia before Alan Wake :)
 
Playing powder toy

It's free to download and play and it's awesome,i created a a photon laser cannon the other day and managed to use contained lightning to transfer the heat to the photons,after thats done i oppened up the cannon and it burns through metal in seconds.
