Assassin's Creed 3 - XBOX
NFS: Most Wanted - XBOX
Borderlands 2 - XBOX
Phoenix Wright: Ace Atternoy - DS
999 - DS

Started Max Payne 3. Very lekker, except that I started with defaults (medium difficulty and soft lock), and that got a boring fast, so I changed it to hard, and free-aim, and now it's much better

Rage/Crysis

How far are you in Rage, and what do you think of it?
Also ... How's Crysis?

I'm about 2 hours into rage, the game looks nice and is fun to play and the quad bike is fun to ride :)..you should try it. Crysis has the multiplayer unlocked on 1 map it's fun but it'd be nice if they added 1 more map to add something different. The graphics are awesome but the load times are a bit slow even with a ssd :/, plus the local servers are empty at the moment so playing on international servers with ping ranging from 200-300 isn't really ideal but playable.

I played Rage a few some back and enjoyed it... To Be Continued.

Well, since I couldn't do any PC gaming last weekend, I finally dusted off that brand new PS3 ornament that has been sitting underneath my tv and got into Uncharted 2. I think I'm almost done with it. It's a good game... a couple of things that bug me, but good story and I'll probably get Uncharted 1 & 3 sometime. I now understand why people want the guy from Castle to play Drake in the movie.

This weekend though... Portal 2 Multiplayer and Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer... and perhaps finish off Uncharted 2.
Then there's only one weekend left before Hitman so I'll probably try and work through my steam games or something.

Is that a promise I see:rolleyes:?

Yep... I'll stay away from the chicken pizza to make sure I'm 100%.

By the way... I see you've been playing Transformers... How is that? And to what other games does it compare to?

That game is purely awesome; brilliant story, great gameplay, and the graphic direction (art and technical) is well done. Fall of Cybertron (the one I've been playing) is a massive improvement on War for Cybertron (which was rather good to begin with).

The narrative is engaging, you always know how grave things are and what's at stake. Best of all, you get to see the story from both the Autobots' and the Decepticons' points of view.

I'm not sure if I could compare it to any other 3rd person shooters (because you get to transform:p). In any case, I love the fact that each transformer you play has tactical pros and cons in whether they transform or not. Either you're slightly weaker but faster bot which doubles up as a faster car, or you're a bulkier but stronger bot which could double up as either a bulky tank or truck, then there's the flying:eek:... Haven't played as the dinobot but from what I hear, it's epic fun.

I doubted the multiplayer, but then I played a few crazy rounds of TDM. It is a truly amazing game:D.

I'd strongly recommend it to anyone (Transformers fans or anyone looking for an awesome shooter experience)

Ah... I have War for Cybertron that I got on a special. Just saw you were playing and thought it was the same game I have.

I'm not a Transformers fan at all. Didn't like the movies... but I got it on a big special :)... And I'm a sucker for a good 3rd person game. (and Steam specials) :)
Will maybe give it a try next weekend.

And some Magic 2013 on the side.
I've never played any of the games in the series but I've been meaning to try it out... is it very difficult for a beginner to learn 'the ropes'?
Back in the day, I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh on PC... was good fun.
Is this anything like that?

It's a good enough game:D
