Am I the only one to think dishonoured was kuk?

Not really hey. I also didn't like it that much. Wouldn't exactly call it kak, but it didn't grip me at all and I stopped playing after about 2 hours or so. Something about the world felt "fake", don't know how to explain it but that's how it felt to me.

Farcry 3
Black ops2
Hitman absolution
Need for speed most wanted (2005)
TF2
No more room in hell
COD 4 MP

My thoughts exactly! Its pretty obvious that games like Bioshock was the major influence for dishonoured, but It had non of what made bioshock so great. The atmosphere wasn't there (think rapture, those beautiful underwater environments), the story line wasn't there (once again, think of how great bioshock was), the gameplay and characters weren't there either (Think massive battles with big daddy's). For a game that had bioshock as a reference point, I would say dishonoured failed in my opinion. The thing that tees me off the most how ever, is that its an OK game. So then why the #@#$ did it get a 5% lower score than bioshock on metacritic? Do these journalists honestly think bioshock is a measly 5% better?

Journalistic integrity has failed. Those days, the big reviewers cant be trusted to review games, and Im pretty sure some money has changed hands at the same time.

At this point, I've played none of the games in question (sue me:o:p), but I'll say I've heard both great things and not so great things about both games. To me, that just says different people have different opinions on anything, from music to games (these 2 games in particular), even if reviewers try to be objective. So, I wouldn't use a difference of opinion as basis for taking a shot at journalistic integrity or making that bold accusation of money changing hands where reviews are concerned.

Well then the obvious is true: A review is just an opinion, and its your choice to put value on said opinion or not. As for me, metacritic scores now receive zero value.
