We noticed

But I love it, I always felt mobile games were a farce since playing Angry Birds (I kept thinking "so this is mobile games' response to Call of Duty ") and although Fruit Ninja isn't Mass Effect it does have an addictive tetris-y feel to it (that's exaggerating it slightly but you know what I mean)

Saints Row 2 (PC) - This has got to be the worse port I have ever seen. It's a pity, because the game is really fun, but the experience is worsened by this really poor port.
Fallout New Vegas (PC) - Not really feeling this, the game feels too slow and the animations are really distracting. They're really bad.
Gun Monkeys - Once I finish the download.

I could not play it because of the Windows 7 & 8 speed up problems, the fix did not make it any better as the game kept on crashing because of it... now on 8.1 I see I don't need the fix so might actually get to play it.

Busy with Dead Space (almost finished).

Next is Fallout 3, although I'm a bit worried about starting this one. I understand that this game is huge.
I don't get a lot of time to play - sometimes up to a week between sessions - and find that I lose the storyline/flow in some games.

That is why I'm still not finished with Fallout3, Fallout NV, Oblivion, Skryrim, Dragon age 1 + 2 etc etc...they are massive...

Yet if you only do the main story it can be completed in a few hours. But then again that was not what they where designed for :p

Playing this and that just started torchlight 2 on game mode plus.

It's odd that it works fine with Win8.1. They really broke this thing tremendously. It doesn't even load data into memory properly. How do you break that!? :wtf: Sigh, I managed to fix the speed up issue, but my game stutters very often because of the way it loads, hopefully now that the main modder who was working on the fix has been employed by Volition, things will get better.

Stranger still was that fact that this was ported by CD Projekt. Were they drunk or something? They're good developers, I wouldn't expect this pile of rubbish to be their work.

You shouldn't confuse CDProjekt (blue logo) with CDProjekt RED. CDProjekt RED developed The Witcher games and while some of the guys from the team might have worked on the SR2 port I doubt it was ported by CDProjekt RED as a whole. I'm not even sure if CDProjekt (or cdp.pl as they are known now) did the port at all, I know Wikipedia lists them as the Windows developer, but as far as I know CDProjekt only did localisations for games, if you check the back cover of the game it even shows CDProjekt Localisation Centre. I could, obviously, be wrong though...

/OT

Still mainly only GTA V with a bit of Borderlands 2 in-between sessions.
