Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an awesome game - with a few flaws, but nothing too game-changing. I really enjoy its fairytale-like atmosphere -- make me feel like a kid again.

what i really enjoyed about KoA was the fluidity of the combat. its just a pity that the storyline and endless arb sidequests just dragged the game down :-(

i start playing Hearthstone about a week back and its friggin BRILLIANT! the Blizzard magic also resulted in me yearning to get back into Diablo 3, so i'm busy with that (on XBOX). i had forgotten what an exquisite timesink D3 is :D

Right now?

Spent almost 20 hours CS:GO last week... and then my hard drive started giving issues... Playing some Hearthstone, trying to get more legendaries!

Not as lucky as some of the other peeps here on this forum :P

Urgh, I have tried so bad to enjoy Hearthston, but with my run with MTG, no card based game can compare. Kinda sucks that I can't actually enjoy anything but.

D3 on console must be a blast though. I could get used to sitting back on the couch and traveling through the environment.

ironically, that's exactly why i dig Hearthstone! its a lot quicker and more streamlined compared to MtG. just give it a chance and play it on its own merits.

Dude, D3 on console is SUPERB! i tried playing it on PC but it never clicked. however, played it on console and its addictive. the controls are liquid smooth and having all your powers at your finger tips makes for a very good game

The Last Of Us

My sister recently upgraded to a Playstation 4 (fortunate, isn't she?), so I got treated to her old Playstation 3. I have played PS3 before, but now I had my own one with the benefit of playing the games I like.

I inherited all her games and started playing The Last Of Us. I was totally sucked in by the game and couldn't rest until I had finished it. I don't know if it is a good or a bad thing playing one of the best games on the PS3 first!

After playing The Last of Us I was still thinking about the story long after I had finished it. All the other games I played afterwards paled in comparison, because the bar had been set so high. It wore off a little, but that expectation will always be at the back of my mind when I play any other games.

Has anyone else experienced this effect?:wtf:

I had the exact same thing with Half Life 2. I still think about it to this day when I play other games. It really is that one game that hooked me.

Last of us was good, but I am getting old now, lol, and found it to be nerve wrecking in parts. (Shouldn't have admitted that)
