Indeed it is. It's pretty much about learning the courses and committing it to memory. The trick is the other players are doing all they can to foil your plans.
My main tip is find the quickest route that works for you - even though the tricky short-cuts usually can get you ahead it isn't always the case and the most obvious route can still be the best.

I played a bit of Double Dragon Neon (thanks [MENTION=17]Eugene[/MENTION]) earlier. Holy crap, that game is quite challenging. Luckily I had a friend over at the time so I could get him to join in and we managed to finish a couple of levels. Not sure how far I would have made it on my own.
Also got myself Demonicon for R99 today. I know it got mediocre reviews, but I'm a fan of these lower budget RPG's and the story seems interesting enough to at least give it a try.
