Dead Island - coop with some friends. I'm finding it a lot of fun.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - the free version on ipad. Thoroughly enjoying it, finding myself getting sucked into the cases. I'll probably pay for the rest of the game at some stage since it's really good.
I've been playing LoL quite a lot the last few days (a common symptom that aggravates the closer I get to exams"whistling
I've got quite a few new games I want to try out during the holidays:
-Fortix
-Primordia
-10 000 000
-Penny's Arcade on the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness 3
-Alan Wake and American's Nightmare
-Arma III Alpha (only the light version)
-Defense Grid: The Awakening
-A Game of Dwarves
First off, I downloaded Rift and Startrek... Felt like trying one of those MMOs after reading the articles from my blog... After about an hour or less of each, I subsequently deleted them again. Maybe one day I'll find a MMO that doesn't bore me. I'm betting on Loadout.
Then I spent a couple of hours (2) in Dota 2. Not sure how I feel about the game yet, but I can see that the learning curve is going to be quite steep. I'll take another look at this later on when I have more time. For now I have other games to finish.
Finally I spent the majority of my gaming this weekend still on Kingdoms of Amalur. While I really do like the combat (as opposed to Dragon Age and Skyrim), I find myself not really caring about the story / dialogue so much. I think it is the way they are handling the dialogue options in the game. They take the dialogue option (as in singular) that matters and put it first while the rest is just "useless" info. There isn't really the complex dialogue options where talking about one thing leads to another, etc. Also, I have no idea what to expect of the ending, but I have a feeling that there is just going to be one ending and that choices in the game won't really matter.
Finally got Remember Me earlier today... I played through the intro quickly and it looks awesome. However, I want to try and finish Kingdoms of Amalur this weekend so I'll use next weekend (which is a long weekend), for Remember Me.
