What are you playing right now?

Yeah Crysis 3 does look great. It was a little dumbed down from the tech demo they showed though but still awesome to look at.

You should check out Arma 3 though. The beta is currently out and if you enjoy being immersed then I cannot recommend Arma 3 enough.

Crysis 3 - awesome franchise, 3rd is totally mind blowing. I'd say the graphics are probably the best I've ever seen in a game. Even better than Arma 2. The sound of the guns is also amazing. A must play for any fps fan!

And what about the gameplay and story? I'm actually doubtful after the chore that was Crysis 2 :?

To quote a friend from this furom

It's a glorified tech demo

Or something like that :p

I have bought State of decay going to start playing it this weekend.

My bro is still visiting from George so I'm over at my parents place a lot.

Crysis 2 is one of my all time favourite games. I've played it through 3 times on different difficulties now. Crysis 3 is pretty much the same as 2. Linear tactical shooter vs Aliens.
I think the story is seriously great, you have to pay attention or read up on it though. Gameplay is great too, its just like Far Cry 3 but with added suit powers and on the fly weapon customisations!

Level design deserves an Oscar or some type of massive award, its crazy detailed and complex.(ruined New York with nature taking over)

I don't know man, Crysis 2 was beautiful and all, but level design choices and enemy AI made it feel like a chore to play rather than being fun, it took me forever to finish it (12 hours split over 8 months). Even the story got a bit too convoluted for my liking. But then again, that's just me.

Out of Crysis 1, 2 and 3 - Crysis 1 is definitely the best one. Big, open maps. Awesome story line. And I found it to be more photorealistic than 'pretty'.

Yeah, Crysis 2 and 3 both looked great as well, but you were too restricted. That's what not Crysis should be about. You have a high-tech nanosuit with various capabilities, and they put you in a linear map with very limited outcomes and scenarios.

Ya, I was quite dissapointed when they changed the open world aspect of it at first. So I just sat back and rolled with it and ended up seriously enjoying it. I just love the idea of the suit. If it wasn't for the suit, Crysis would not be as good as it is.

Dee, I think you can probably skip on Crysis 3 bro. Way similar to Crysis 2.

oh ya Duck, going to check out that Arma 3 beta too. Pretty amped on the Arma games.

Played a bit of Reus just now. Interesting concept. I can imagine spending a few hours in this game, could get quite intriguing :)

That game is brilliant :D I've spent like 20 hours in it already

Playing borderlands 2 and some Portal 2

Been playing the Walking Dead - one more Episode to go. I'm absolutely loving it - each episode is an emotional roller coaster ride, from fear, revulsion, relief, sorrow. My biggest compliment to the game is that I find myself thinking of the characters as real people, who I genuinely care about.
