What are you playing right now?

I've just downloaded Metal Gear: Revengeance and Remember Me as part of the free PS+ games, so looking forward to playing those today. Super stoked!

I also own all the books, games, DLC, CE's (including AC2 Black Edition) from AC2 onwards (did not have a console or a job when AC released.)

I completely disagree with you. Loved every second of it. While not as cocky and charismatic as Ezio (for obvious reasons), Connor is still a great character. Glad they got rid of Desmond, his story should have stopped with Ezio's in Revelations. To each his own I suppose.

Was playing it again yesterday to get psyched for ACIV and it's still awesome. If I had to rate it, it would be 8.5/10.

I completely agree that Ezio's trilogy had to stop after Revelations. Ezio's trilogy is perfect as it is.

I just think a lot of the core ideas that were set down from the original game have just been dropped. The game doesn't feel so open anymore, it's like the game doesn't encourage you to explore, I don't know how to explain it. In AC II all I wanted to do was explore.

A very big issue I have with ACIII is the whole Templar plot, it felt like the game wanted to change the appearance of the of the Tenplars into good guys, no more "evil" than the Assassins.

But meh, to each his own :).

I'm not psyched for nor will I buy Black Flag, I'm over AC now.

Just jammed a bit of CoD4 on the local igame servers hoping for a good game. Miserable all the way. Permanently stacked teams & endless spawn camping...mostly by the senior & formerly respected players. They only behave if an admin is on (or one of the thinly concealed "undercover" accounts). Had it with that scene & community...its got twice as many admins online as say BF3 and still its flippin toxic.

Single player Skyrim it is...

PC
Borderlands 2 (mostly this)

PS3
Assassin's Creed III (just messing around a bit to get psyched for ACIV on Tuesday)
Remember Me
Dragon's Dogma

Vita
Soul Sacrifice (finally borrowed it from somebody)

I squeeze in a FTL game every now and again. Won the game with the Kestrel layout B today.
Next up is the Stealth Cruiser.

During this weekend I played Sleeping Dogs, and a little bit of the new Deus Ex: Human Revolution release. I also had lots of fun playing Path of Exile with James today, it's really hard to believe this game is free.

PC
Assassin's Creed III (just messing around a bit to get psyched for ACIV on Tuesday)

AC:IV! Can't wait. It looks very good, much better than some of the previous ones at least.

Anyway, I've been messing around with XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and I'm having a blast.

I tried giving Hector: Badge of Carnage a go, but I wasn't really enjoying it that much. The writing is good, but I just felt a little bored while playing it. I'll give it another go sometime soon.

So over the weekend I watched Gravity which caused me to revisit Kerbal Space Program again after a while not playing it. I'm a bit disappointed that the game hasn't been updated enough and it's more or less the same as about 4 months ago...but it's still fun

I finished AC3 this weekend, and then discovered that i now have to get pivots or something.(post game)

I found 2 and then got stopped.

I started to play Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Not bad so far.

Tried playing some more Assassin's Creed 3 this weekend... It is hard for me to get into the game, but I'm trying to stick with it, hoping it gets better later on. I'm actually playing this on PS3 rather than PC since there shouldn't be too much aiming involved.

But then, I finally picked up Saints Row 4 over the weekend while on 50% off. I regretted not pre-ordering this as there has been no stock in SA since release... Now just to find some more time for gaming to start this off.

Anyone played ACIV: Black Flag yet? I'm looking for some opinions :D

I played about 2 hours past night, will put in a lot more time tomorrow and Friday when I'm off work. So far it is absolutely amazing, I haven't done much (just got the Jackdaw), bit what I have done was great. Story seems good so far (even modern time storyline) and Edward is qn awesome character. Love just sailing around and there are sooo many distractions on the mini-map like small islands with treasure chests, animals to hunt, people to assassinate etc.

Ship controls are much easier and more fluid than in AC III and naval combat is better as a result. Normal combat is pretty much the same as in AC III bit with a few different animations and different weapons etc. Seems to be a lot of upgrades for both Edward and the Jackdaw.

Definitely recommended to fans of AC or open-world games/pirate theme in general.

You have it on PS3 or Xbox dude?

I've got it on PS3 man, extra content and the fact that I have all the others on PS3 made my choice of platform easy.

I had my heart set on the PC version, but I watched the Escapist review last night - I want it now. Been on a PC only mission for a while now, and a repeating issue with Uplay last night just convinced me to go with the console version.
