I'm switching between games.
BF4 (PC)
COD Ghosts (PC) and
The Last of Us

So far I'm liking them all, expect BF4 that keeps giving me problems.

Still laying Terraria but also starting F.E.A.R. 2 and 3.

Looking to get back into some MW3 on PS3 soon as I can't get Ghosts and Black Ops 2 is boring. :)

Fallout:NV

Enjoying a ton of emmersion mods and the DLC's,just finished old world blues and i am going to do honest hearts next.

-Currently playing The Last of Us (Awesome game and about half way I think)

- Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea (about 10min in but decided to wait and save this one)

- Need to finish AC: Brotherhood and then finally get down to AC: Revelations and AC3 so I can join the train and see all the hype about AC 4.

Patiently waiting for 13 December so I can jam some PS4 and Call of Duty Ghosts.

Whats everyone's thoughts on Call of Duty Ghosts current-gen? Good game and graphics?

Graphics are rubbish (i play on pc on ultra), maps are build very badly for competitive gamers like me, game is laggy (unstable and needs to be patched badly), and the only good thing is that my k/d is above 2 :D

General consensus is that Battlefield 4 is the better game, I would get that if I were you. Ghosts at least works on console, but on PC it's absolutely terrible and I recommend you avoid it at all cost, like Applause said.

The game is marketed as 'next-gen' yet games from 2008 look better. BF4 provides a much better look for what to expect from the next-gen systems, and has a great mix of 'COD like' maps as well as traditional massive 64 player ones.

This is from a person that doesn't even like "Modern Military Shooters"; BF4 is just the better game. And the new patch has fixed a lot of the server issues as well.

I have introduced my daughter (10yo) to Age of Empires 2 and she is starting to enjoy the game. She loves other games like Toy Story 3 and Ice Age. I am always looking for new games which are age appropriate. For the time being she is enjoying this so far.

My son (4yo ... closer to 5 now) is playing Zoo Tycoon. And that is all he wants to do (if he isn't on the tablet or playing Wii).

They get rationed when it comes to gaming. I don't want them growing up not knowing what the outdoors looks like or solely needing to play video games to keep themselves amused. Balanced and moderation.

Me, I am currently addicted to AoE 2 HD (Steam). Loving it.

My son (almost 5) and I are playing Lego LOTR and Lego Marvel Heroes. It's great to co-op together and he is starting to get the hang of the Xbox controller.

LOTR is not too violent? Amazing how quick and easily the young ones learn to handle the controllers. Not as complex as the Xbox, but my lad is reasonably comfortably with the Wii controller. Loves his sports on the Wii.

I picked up Skyrim on PS3 today for R149 at BT Games 2nd hand. So stoked! Now I can finally play the game. Have been looking forward to playing it for soooooo long. There goes my life. :)

Not at all, it's so well done that any 'violence' is very toned down I.e. When you lose a life you explode into lots of Lego pieces, very funny to watch.

Ah, that sounds like fun. And my lad is already "in love" with his Lego. :)

Aaah the good old days.... when my son use to love playing games with the old man. Now all he wants to do is sit face stuck into BBM, with headphones listening to doublestep when he is home :D

At least I must admit I don't have a problem with him not going out like some teenagers I have seen.
