Busy playing "Chrome Chrome IE" whilst debugging browser inconsistencies.

I hate that game, especially since it's more like Chrome, FF, Safarai, Opera (maybe), then IE10, IE9, IE8, IE7, IE6

And usually everything works fine on all the other browsers, but breaks in a different way for every version of IE

There's a cheat-code for IEx though - forcing the browser into a specific rendering mode (for IE) using the X-UA-Compatible meta tag. It makes IE render pretty much the same throughout. Downside is having to stick to the lowest common denominator, so choose your audience carefully.

Luckily all the other browsers tend to act the same throughout - even (modern) mobile and tablet browsers.

Ya it's getting better, but for example, yesterday I had to downgrade from JQuery 2.1.1 to JQuery 1.11.1 because, as it turns out, JQuery dropped support for IE 8 and below in version 2.

Haha I had to do the same end of last week! And the worst is that Nuget automatically updates JQuery to version 2. This week we decided that we will not be supporting IE 8 anymore. If the people that make use of our sites wantsto support IE 8 then they have to replace the JQuery files themselves in the scripts folder.

Luckily the bundles in MVC can be set without a specific version number so it will pick up whatever is in there.

And Nuget won't even let you choose an older version to install... I used a CDN hosted one instead.

Playing shovel knight a lot of fun but I wouldn't mind playing it with a nes controller.

I started Dishonoured last night

make sure your first playthrough is "NON-LETHAL". trust me on this one, i speak from experience. most of the fun and cool skills are kill-based and you will find game rather tiresome to constantly reload-save-reload-save-reload in order to get by non-lethally

So far I'm doing non lethal when I can sneak up on people, but if they spot me, then it's weapons free time.
