What are you reading right now?

Reading Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell at the moment. It's even better than the movie. Sonmi's storyline makes a whole lot more sense - not just the Wachowskis using another "chosen one" trope.

On my tablet: Dance of Death - Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child
No Virginia Woolf :D but fun all the same.

On my phone: A Game of Thrones - George R.R. Martin
Been meaning to get around to this for some time, now I wish I did sooner.

In processed tree format: Die Genesis-faktor - Francois Bloemhof
Not far enough into this to know if I like it yet.

Just finished reading The Great Hunt (Wheel of Time #2), and I'm completely stunned by how brilliant it is . And those last chapters? Too awesome!!!

I'm having an internal struggle at the moment, do I move on to The Dragon Reborn (Wheel of Time #3), or do I read The Gates of Rome (Time Riders #5)?

Busy reading Derren Brown's Tricks of the Mind. Really interesting, but he writes a tad poncily (if that's a word - if it's not, I meant to say that he writes like a bit of a ponce).

Finished all 14 books a few weeks ago. Good read though it does dip a bit from books 6-11 for me

I kept coming up with possible endings for book 2 throughout the last chapters... It was different from what I expected but it certainly didn't disappoint :D... I'm actually getting goosebumps just thinking of the events of the last chapters:eek:

Finished The Last Four Things (Left hand of God books) it was OK, but the first book was definitely a lot better. So today I got myself Vampire Chronicles from Anne Rice after listening to the audio book...

Finished Gates of Rome (wow, that was a good read:D), I'm currently reading The Dragon Reborn (Wheel of Time #3).

Sandstorm by James Rollins, its book 1 of the Sigma series. It's a mix between clive cussler and indiana jones, rather entertaining.Next will be The Codex by douglas preston.

Just picked up the mongoliad trilogy. Quite a cool idea, originally it was a social media experiment where different authors would combine serial storytelling with interaction with the readers so a load of people guide the direction of narrative. It proved so popular that it's all been restructured, rewritten and edited to make it easier to follow and been published as a trilogy. With contributers such as Neal Stephenson and Greg Bear you have top match Sci Fi authors involved and it looks a really promising read.
Also got the mistborn trilogy from Brandon Sanderson. Thought I would give it a go after he finished the wheel of time series quite well in difficult circumstances.

Recently finished The Dragon Reborn (Wheel of Time #3), currently halfway through City of Shadows (Time Riders #6)

Also, I can't wait for August so I can get my hands on The Fall of Five (Lorien Legacies #4)

Just finished The Steel Remains (book one of A Land Fit for Heroes) by Richard Morgan (again) and now moving on to The Cold Commands (book two).
