What are you reading right now?

The trick is to fully understand that they are totally different forms of media; the beauty is seeing how one translates into another whilst taking great care to make note of successful interpretation instead of dismal translation :D
now that's what I call a glass half full approach to it :D

will keep it in mind next time

I'll binge read/game after exams are done. Been stuck halfway with stardust - Neil Gaiman for 3 weeks now.

I've completed Slaughterhouse 5 and there is not much one can say review wise of such a classic. Highly recommended if you want to read something a bit more thought provoking.

Currently I about halfway through "The Wind through the Keyhole" by Stephen King.
It is part of the Dark Tower series but having read the other books is not a prerequisite. That said, I think part of the reason I'm enjoying it as much as I am is because I have read the series and am familiar with that universe. Thus far I'm enjoying it immensely and while it may not be the best book in the series, it is also far from the worst.
Highly recommended, especially to Dark Tower fans.

Busy reading Warren Buffett's biography, The Snowball, for the second time. What a fascinating story. Written in a very accessible fashion, too. Can thoroughly recommend it to anyone who enjoys breaking up the fiction reading with something more serious.

I'm reading this thread... :p
Seriously though, the last book I read was Resident evil: The umbrella chronicles (cool book btw)
I ordered the complete works of H.P Lovecraft and it was too expensive for me (eish) I wanted to read that so bad.

I recently finished Winter's Heart by Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time #9). I didn't get it when my friends (Crusader included) said they apologize for the books that followed the 1st 6... I do now, Book 9 has a reasonably good story, but wow, the pacing is horrible:(.

I will now take a break from the WoT series for a while now, or at least until I read 3 - 4 books that are less draining.

On that note, I started reading Sons of Fortune by Jeffrey Archer, haven't read his books in a while, but his style of writing has been sorely missed during my WoT marathon :)

So I've completed "The Wind Through the Keyhole" by Stephen King. Without a doubt the best book he's produced in a long time. Or maybe I was just so happy to return to Mid-World and the characters from the Dark Tower books that my judgement has been skewed.
Anyway, if you know who Roland of Gilead is, read this book.

I'm now busy reading "They Thirst" by Robert R. McCammon. It's better than I thought it would be and it dated reasonably well considering it was first published in 1981. The only irritation I have is that some of the characters introduced at the start are not given enough time to develop properly before moving on to the next character; lacking introductory "screen time", if you please.
But this is not a deal breaker and the story is quite good. Not for people who prefer their vampires sparkly.

Currently busy with Black Man by Richard Morgan. Really enjoying it so far, one of the better sci-fi books I have read ( not really a fan of the genre).

Do comics count as reading material too in here?

If so i'm currently reading the injustice series and the smallville series(it's not the tv show but it's something that takes the story further)

Reading 2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson. He is being hailed as the new Sci-Fi superstar; and after reading thus far I can fully understand why. Truly an amazing author with a rare talent for relatable yet somehow still loquacious writing.

Finally received my Charles Bronson (the prisoner, not the actor) biography that I ordered months ago.

Saw the movie Ender's Game trailer, read the reviews werent so good, and decided to read the book...or more truthfully, listen to the audio book. Halfway and its a great book! Will watch the movie afterwards.

Haven't quite finished reading Sons of Fortune yet because for some reason as on Friday I thought to myself, "Isn't Enders Game coming out?". Needless to say, I read the book and it was brilliant :D
