I prefer ASRock.

Although they were a pretty shit brand many years ago, I now see them as the best premium motherboard brand on earth.

Mine isn't listed, but:

I'm using a Biostar MCP6P M2+ Ver. 6.x, which has been holding me for the last ±6 years.
Won't sat I prefer it, but it's been holding its ground.

The only motherboards I have used that I can actually remember is Intel and Biostar. I have been happy with both as they served their purposes well.

If I could choose a different motherboard and money wasn't exactly a factor in the equation I would choose Gigabyte, but that is primarily based on the fact that I love my Aivia keyboard so I trust the brand.
My 5770 (Asus) on the other hand doesn't work 100% of the time especially after a format with drivers etc so I wouldn't pick that one. The others I have had no recent enough experience with any of their products to even have my own view of them.

I burned my hands on an ASRock some years ago, and the wound is still to fresh for me to consider them again. I had to hack graphics drivers in order for Ubunutu to boot on that board.. I've noted the upwards trend of the brand over the past 3 or so years, to my dismay. I guess I'll only be convinced when I can get one for a price that I can't refuse.

My current favourite is Gigabyte. Strong boards with loads of upgrade options and great support. Although I haven't used them in years (a decade?), I still consider Asus with every upgrade cycle, and I haven't ever used MSI or eVGA, but they make the shortlist each time as well. I've been an AMD fanboy for some time, so the Intel boards don't get consideration.

I'm still a bit of an Asus fan. I've never had any issues with them so I've had no reason to change :) Although my HTPC is running an ASrock Z77 and it's running pretty solidly. It was the best I could find in that price range and hasn't given me any issues so I might try their boards in the future for my desktop. It'll always come down to what can I get the most value from for my money at the time.

Gigabyte, MSI and ASUS...had too many issues with Biostar and ASRock boards in the past to ever consider using them again.

Asus... Becoz sexy...
Also never had a issue with their boards and most times their layout works well.

Speaking of ASRock... I had one once and it wasnt too bad but the Asus I got afterwards was much better... But a buddy of mine is also ASRock crazy now. Guess they stepped up big time.

im currently running a biostar board in my main pc and the only problem i had was two caps that popped which i replaced about a month ago, otherwise its been running solidly for about +-3 years now.

We sell mainly Gigabyte, solid boards with a decent price range. Asus is really good but more expensive generally

Well OP recommended Asrock so thats what I'm sporting. :) Asus would be fine too.

MSI & gigabyte I'd research very carefully for potential issues first.

Well I was using a asus P8Z68-V pro... Nice motherboard expensive as shit. But seeing as though the little bastard just died on me I'll keep a eye out for an ASRock as recommended by mister J

Asus, each time I build a pc they are a rock solid choice, a bit more expensive than most but it works brilliantly

Still Asus, best ever, even if they are more expensive, their warranty is great and there is no hassles when you ask for a replacement. Lightning hit mine twice and was exchanged with no questions asked :P

The AS Rock series is also not to bad but I would still stay with Asus if I had a choice.

I've been using MSI for a while now and can't really complain. What I like, and I don't know if other boards have it too, is the OC Genie. My I7 2600K is overclocked to 4.2GHz by the press of the OC Genie button on the mainboard. I don't really like fiddling around with hardware / settings to overclock manually so this works nicely for me.

Have been using ASUS for all my builds to date - as their slogan suggests, they are rock solid :)

Slowly leaning towards ASRock - the black and grey design on their "extreme" series looks pretty hardcore

ASUS, then Gigabyte... Burned myself with MSI and Asrock before, still haven't recovered :)

I actually bought an MSI GPU this year, which is a big step for me :) Better not let me down!
