What do you think of this rig?

Here's what im probably going to get as a budget gaming/encoding/after fx rig for 1k

I7 950
Radeon 6950 (flashed with 6970 firmware to unlock shaders ect.)
Corsair tx 750 v2 psu
Asus sabertooth mobo
Corsair 6gb 1600 ram
Oh and nzxt phantom black case (not cheap but future proofed and sexy)

So what do u think? Ballanced?
 
Its $1000 with sales on newegg. I saw a deal for the i7 for $230 and should have got it.... but hopefully it'll come back soon
 
Yea that's what I was planning. Non modular but a lot of nice added features.

Any reccomendations with surge protectors? I need something that has a warentee to replace if things are hit by a surge protected by it and a eithernet cable surge protection and tv cable would be nice too. But for as cheap as possible. Thinking of getting a refurbished one.
