So, I've got a Kalahari voucher from Rage for certain games that needs using by the end of the year, and I'm wondering what to get.

I already have BF3, so I'm considering one of these: Batman: Arkham City, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Skyrim, Uncharted 3, COD MW 3.

Maybe you guys can hep me decide. Poll incoming. Thanks

All good options but Batman AC & Skyrim are the obvious choices. I voted Skyrim, although I would have voted both if I could.

Uncharted 3. GOTY hands down and something everyone with a PS3 should own.

While I believe that UC3 is a decent game in pure value for Money ratio Skyrim the obvious choice. Even stretching it UC's campaign wont last you more than 12 hours. Where as in Skyrim you could easily loose a 100 hours.

This is all my own opinion. I enjoyed both UC 1 & 2 but, in my mind, I compare them to blockbuster movie; fun and entertaining but requiring minimal input from me, the player. I enjoy more freedom in my games which is why Skyrim &/or Batman AC being my choice.

Uncharted 3 is a game you will want to finish more than once, believe me. And then therr is multiplayer. You will get a lot more than 100 hours out of it. I finished UC2 about 5 times and put 250+ hours into MP. I see the same happening for UC3.

I finished both UC 1 & 2 and other than Trophy hunting I've not had any inclination to replay it. Might just be me, but UC's linear nature means ur not really going to discover something completely new on a second or 3rd Play through. As I said before this is totally my own opinion . Also I had... "disagreements" with UC 2's design which may have removed some of the wow factor many seem to feel. Like someone else said if ur purely going for EPIC 12 hour (or however long UC3 is) roller-coaster ride then go UC, you want to loose yourself in a deep and huge fantasy world Go Skyrim.

Thanks guys. Here's my thoughts so far.

MW3 would be cool, but I have BF3, so probably shouldn't get another FPS.

Skyrim also looks awesome, but I'm a little worried about starting a big RPG at the moment, because I know I'm going to be sinking plenty hours into BF3 MP, so I don't know if I'll have enough time to get into it.

I can probably borrow a copy of Batman from my boss when he's done with it, so I don't know if that's a must buy.

I did enjoy AC:BH, so Revelations might be good.

I think I may be leaning towards UC3. Hmmm

Wish I could play them all but there's only so much time available for games. Tough choice

There is your answer.

Well, at the moment, I may be leaning that way, but sometimes I lean toward the other games. They all look so good

Well you did explain why you DIDN'T want the others. And no reason for not wanting UC3?
It's a tough decision I know. I've had to cull a few from my list for now as well.

Get Uncharted 3.

It is amazing. Once you have completed the SP and COOP and sampled the MP, you can always trade it in and Get Skyrim. By that time Skyrim would have been patched to something you can actually play and enjoy. (bethesda games are always buggy as hell)

Ya, I've been trying to find reasons to cull some, but are they really good enough reasons?

I think at this point you need all the reasons you can get.
For example, I'm not getting UC3 now, as I just finished 2, so I'm giving Nathan Drake a rest until next month. I ditched BF3 due it's Xbox HD requirement, AC:R I'll wait for general consensus after not really enjoying BH. Skyrim offers something totally new for me (also, dragons) at the moment so that's probably my next purchase for the month.

All good points, I played UC2 ages ago, but I did play UC1 recently. Skyrim looks great and is something different for me too, the only thing that worries me is the massive amounts of time that RPG's require.

I think at the moment it's a toss-up between UC and Skyrim

So by process of elimination - Uncharted 3 :D

Ya, I think that'll be the winner, I'll ponder for a few more days before I decide.

Thanks for the help guys

Is it just me or are the poll results trying to tell me something if I turn them sideways? :D
