I can't remember the name of the first pc game that I played. It was way back, before games were in colour. It was a platformer but it was before Prince of Persia. There were bats and um I kind of remember what it looks like but nothing else.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and call it as Saboteur 2. It was also known as Panther (because there where panthers) or Ninja ('cause you're a ninja) to some people. I think the entire game was about 64kb in size. You drop into a facility from a hang glider and then have to complete a mission and escape on a motorbike before the time ran out. There was no save game option, so each time you were done with a mission, you got a code you could enter to skip to a specific level.
Oh, and the bats were in the caves under the facility.

Hard to remember 16+ years ago so clearly/fondly.

Jeez u must have started off with quite a decent machineI had to do a HECTIC upgrade when for christmas the one year my mom bought me Age of Empires 1 and Dark Reign... You didnt even need a video card, it was all about the sound card back then
