What is the next big MMO?

Hi Guys

I know everyone is looking forward to StarWars but I want to know what is the next big MMO due for release ?

I read a few reviews on Vanguard: Saga of Heroes it's been out for about a year now and the first expansion is about to hit. Sounds kinda fun. Dono, or should I just go and give Warhammer a try for now? Apparently it's getting pretty good now since they sorted most of the crap out.

Need help :p

Didn't they close down almost half their servers (much like AoC) ?
 
I'm not a big fan of MMO's but I can't wait for Star Trek Online. It probably won't be that popular though.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the burning Legions rectum!!!!

World of Warcraft: Return of the Lich Kings burning sphincter!!!

and the next big MMO after that.......?

Personally I think the Star Wars MMO looks to be quite good... It looks so good i might actually play for more than a month.

WoW and Lotro just sucked.
 
I've toyed with the idea of playing Lords of the rings online, but I dunno - it just doesn't look right :/
 
I've tried Vanguard. The world is HUGE and it's almost sandbox-y, but be prepared for a lack of people running around and a (still) rather buggy game. They've come leaps and bounds, but need to learn how to optimise the game and work on a few kinks.

For me, the next big thing will be Guild Wars 2. I mean, what could be better than Guild Wars with a persistent world, destructible environments, world events, world PvP etc? I can't think of anything. It's going to be legend. I await it with bated breath.
 
I don't like mmo's at all but I am going to give the Kotor one a chance. Mainly because I liked the two Kotor single player games and because BioWare is doing it.

I am looking forward to see Aion in action, if only to see the sexy graphics and fighting combos, and then KOTOR, for the very same reasons as Stefan

The Next Blizzard MMO (they will probably learn from their experience with WoW and make it even better with this one)

Aion apparently has over 3.5 million subscribers in Asia alone and it was released in March...that's huge.

aion is to be released to the west, but only few countries in the start. read this on some mmosite.

Yep :) At 6 month intervals starting with Europe I think. The first Western release is expected around the 3rd/4th quarter of this year.
