So what is the worst gift you have receive or given to someone?

Its like a awesome idea when your standing in the shop and you think yeah this person will like this and after a few day's you realize how bad the gift actually was for that person.

Worst one I was gifted was this.

I got a cheq for 10 years from my aunt for R5....

Cost me more to go and bank the thing....

Worst normal gift was a letter opener :/
 
Either I'm too appreciative of what I get or I just don't like complaining, but, I don't recall ever getting a gift I didn't like.
Maybe clothing that was just a little too short that I really found a liking to Idk.
 
I was given some shoes that made me look like I crawled out from under a rock and trying to be disguised as a dutchie :p.... I don't mind khaki shoes but those were horrible.

For our wedding, my uncle said that he is sending me R1000 with my cousin. My cousin arrived with a R200 voucher..... :rolleyes:

Have not asked anyone about this.....

Worst gift i got was an expensive wallet/purse form the bf for my birthday. the reason it was the worst gift was that a month prior i already bought a new one which was also kind of expensive(and he was there when i bought it). and i know this gift was a last minute thing

Friend that i knew from Rugby that heard i started gaming.

Bought me Sims 2 :/ ( couple of years ago ) He heard its the most popular game .

I haven't really gotten anything that's BAD because my friends and family know I'm into gaming and always give me something game related.
 
When I was about 7 or 8 years old I had a birthday party. Three of my friends (or rather, their parents) got me the same Spiderman jigsaw puzzle. Guess the toy-stores didn't have much stock back then :P
 
People actually get gifts???
Worst gift i gave was a t-shirt i liked to a friend. Needless to he overwore it and within 3 weeks was scrap.. Even had food stains
 
I've got two Hillsong CDs lying in my closet, never been opened. Someone gave them to me for Christmas.

Not only do I think Hillsong is a crap band, I'm an atheist. Buying people religious gifts is, imo, very thoughtless.
