What is your job, exactly?

My official job is Senior Warehouse Administrator. But....................

I do all of IT's work in our warehouse as i have the exp and i'm in-house so there is no downtime and no waiting and filling out of forms and logging calls and all that crap, but it gets misused and people take a lot of advantage of it even so much that my own work actually gets left behind. and there is no recognition or even a thank you for what i have done here the past three months with the SAP changeover and the Migration.

That is indeed a "copy paste" I try and keep the corporate speak for when I'm actually required to spew garbage. Then the : "We must efficiently operationalize our strategies and invest in world-class technology to leverage our core competencies through proven methodology and with a strong commitment to quality." crap comes out.

What the non-IT folk don't know is that we have a drinking game for when we're on a conference call with head office, so when someone says :

synergy - take a sip of your beer
world-class - take a sip of your beer
client-centric - down your beer
value-added experience - shot of tequila
Proactively - gulp on beer
mission critical - down a beer
paradigm shift - finish all open bottles of alcohol
leverage the cloud - swear loudly and hang up the call, you don't need that negativity in your life

I'm a senior developer mostly focused on interfaces between various medical systems, including pharmacy dispensing automation and medical aids

Sounds a lot like our claims processing system and infrastructure, also built with dispensing and scripting.

My official Title is now Senior Cloud Engineer, I do Tier 2 Support for G Suite for business , Mimecast and Proofpoint as well as deployments for G Suite and Mimecast.

On top of that I have managed to put myself in a position where I am co managing all the internal IT for the company as well.
 
Im a swimming instructor for age 3+ (adults included) and i also have my own small house and pet sitting business which i do on the side (mainly deal with medicated animals)
 
So I started a new job this year. I am a Material Handling Engineer (industrial engineer) for the body shop at the Nissan plant in Rosslyn. I make sure all the right parts are stored in the best place so that they can be fed to the line in the most efficient manner.
