What Job in a RPG based world

So inspired by Edelweiss what universe thread I made this, If you were in a typical RPG universe what Job Would you most likely want/have realistically.

I would probably be a alchemist's assistant striving learning the trade, or at some mages college somewhere which is odd since i never play as a mage but I like what they do.
 
I would probably work in the kings castle responsible for the guards wages and making sure that the proper procedures are followed and that the employees dont take us to the CCMA!

Oh ja and that king would be Insanity because he is both wise and just!

If I had to choose I'd be a once highly renowned war veteran now jaded and retired because said age is an age where glory and honour associated with said profession is no longer needed/relevant... phew quite a backstory I had going for myself there...
Anyway, I'd be making the finest weaponry and armoury in the entire game.

I'd be the owner of the most prestigious brothel of all the land... I get to test the merchandise too if you know what I mean. ;)

I honestly don't think I'd have the cajones to live in an rpg world. Live in Skyrim?? The Elder Scrolls universe is freaky as heck man. Those monsters give me the heeby jeebies and why aren't spiders normal size in that place? fook me, I'd completely shite if my wife said..."hey, check this spider in the cupboard."

nope nope no thanks!

Until I can think of something else... I'd be a King Protector or Lord Protector. Very prestigious role, I believe.

Uh yeah, if lightsabers were real I would be a prosthetic limb salesman in that galaxy far far away. I would own planets.

If I had to pick, I would be a Space Marine. Without a doubt the best universe there is....after Star wars.
 
So rpg world means any themed world that was an rpg?

I would be a necromancers apprentice.
 
A mercenary spellblade.

Heavy armor that gets stronger with each hit it takes,a blade that adapts and becomes more deadly with each hit it makes and healing magic that can heal even the most severe of wounds.
 
Boob & bikini armour blacksmith!

Realistically though, i`d probably be doing something mundane like i`m doing now. NPC standing around, giving boring info and stats to whoever bothers to ask.

And this is why I would most probably not be involved in trade or production like a blacksmith or general dealer. I would be too worried about some rogue sneaking into the basement and looting. I'd also not be a warrior or guard as those are usually I'm harms way. So I guess I'd be in the training business. Mage's University or some guild where I have the protection of a massive guild behind me while I train and nurture those young up and coming masters of the craft. :)
 
I'm currently a dirty console peasant. so i think i'll just stick to that. :)

or

Depending on the type world, i'd like to be a hunter or fisherman.
