What makes a good BF3 TEAM player?

Grimspoon

As the title stipulates, what makes a good TEAM player. I caps the word team because I notice a lot of guys can be good, but be useless at playing in a team.

I spend almost all my time playing medic and healing reviving as much as possible. I will run through a storm of bullets to try revive a team mate lying half dead in the middle of the street. I consider myself a good team player.

Also, should I be playing other classes more? I guess I would level quicker if I start unlocking more items. I am only level 33 and have about 70 hours now.

The easiest is to team up with a sqd like clanmates etc and talk on ts or Battlelog. Working together to capture flags and covering each other. No matter what class you play as long as you help your sqd on the objectives...

Engineer- takes out vehicles and repairs
Medic -Revives and med packs
Support -supress and ammo
Recon -spawn beacons and spotting

etc etc

how many people even play in a clan? I always find myself leaving and joining squads searching for a squad that actually has "teamwork" in mind

Just don't run into enemy fire to revive your teammate who is in the open.all your doing is killing yourself.

I suck pretty badly in team based maps since i like to go lone wolf

.

i know you mean well, but please PLEASE don't revive a team mate in the middle of the street after you saying you are being fired at, that's an instant rage by the other guy, i know you can decline the revive but that hardly ever happens. Rather clear the area first, and yes maybe you won't make it in time but at least you won't get raged at.

maybe I should join a clan or something. It there a yellow pages of clans :D

play with the guys on Public servers, if you like their style of play or just seem like cool guys, ask them or go see their Clan website, 98% of guys in clans are great okes, but u do get the odd w@nker now and again

Fair enough. I know what you are saying. Noted.

but it takes the point away from them and it does not count as a death.

Yes we did :D Poor faffa:p We must do it again sometime. Was prob the most fun I have had in sqdm.
Haha agreed, you just made him cross for our interclannie he raped us got 33-4 on Metro.... 8v8

Don't do that again...

Race good one though something i wouls like to add with you support,is having a jeep around on a tank map makes the support class more self sufficient than any other class. Just my opinion.

If the sniper class came with c4 packs then i think all classes would be pretty balanced out.

Tsar i will get my dog tag back, someday.:p

A mixed team also helps... having 90% snipers usually leaves the whole team lacking momentum. Having no snipers leaves them exposed... etc.

Knowing what the team needs to win makes a big difference. Soflam is a great example. It is a bit of a sacrifice to use it but it can help so much.

I agree. I think you need a balance of classes within a squad and play to your class advantages. I'm no pro though, but I do make a good team player (Medic)

definition of a good BF3 team player: one who PTFO!!

If all players in a team does this, then they are automatically a good team player. The rest as mentioned above just makes one a better team player; if you have a good balanced squad and overall good balanced team, then winning is inevitable.
