I would like to see a Dragonball Z Universe (Not GT imo, des***ed it- wtf, desp-i-sed is a curse word?) MMO be made, but not like the bollocks kiddy Dragonball Online that they have recently had in development.
The leveling would be based on your power level. ie when you level, your power level raises. Playable races would consist of the Saiyans, Nameks, Androids perhaps, though I haven't thought that aspect of the idea out thoroughly enough. If it were up to me I would only have Saiyans as a playable race, as they are one of the strongest (and coolest) fighters in that universe- though people would moan about the lack of diversity. Though I wouldn't like the idea that a Namek's power level is equal to a Super Saiyan's.
Now has anyone played Star Wars Galaxies, prior to the CU (Combat Upgrade)? The game consisted of the basic classes, Bounty Hunter, Smuggler etc. Then there existed the ability to ascend to Jedi, but which was nearly impossible to achieve. That in my opinion should apply to a feature such as ascending to Super Saiyan, or whatever super forms there were in the show. But that is where I don't like the idea of Nameks, Androids or other playable races because it won't be equal to a Super Saiyan.
Classes. Hmm. Could have your general MMO setup such as your starting classes. Fighter, Craftsman

Shipwright
Crafting of space ships. Suppose would be good if there was space travel like SWG's Jump to Lightspeed.
Tailor
Clothing for those who want.
Armoursmith
Armour for non-fighters, and reinforced clothing like Goku received from King Kai for fighters.
Weaponsmith
Crafters of weapons, such as blasters (non-fighters), swords.
Chef
Food made for short term buffs.
Architect
Housing of players, also able to use as shops with vendors.
Fighter:
Here you are the warrior class, able to spec in the following specialisation lines:
Martial Arts - Consisting of both a defensive and offensive line. Later in the line obtaine the ability to wear reinforced clothing armour, as mentioned at Armoursmith.
Swordsmanship - Also consisting of both a defensive and offensive line. Higher leve you are in this, the better swords you can wield.
Ki mastery - Abilities such as flying, hide power level, and offensive blasts and defensive shields.
Anyway, some features. As mentioned above what about being able to hide your power level? Your power level will read (or be sensed) as say 50,000, but then you can power up (like in the show) and the guy can gasp endlessly as your power level reaches an age above his expectations.
There could be two factions. Earth Special Forces, and the Villians who want to rule/destroy the world/s. PVP can be between the two factions. Earth's Special Forces could live on earth (obviously), and the villians from say a reformed planet Vegeta (If Saiyan is the only playable race).
