What movie did you last watch thread.

Oblivion was good, watched that on Sunday.

Iron Man 3 was good, watched that last night, but it's becoming more of a comedy than a Superhero movie.

Watching Now you see me this evening, looks promising!

Elysium! 4 Stars only cos of the South African accent and references. Damon is a bit flat but else an enjoyable movie with a couple attempts at something new.

"You gonna dig it ey"

Pacific Rim. Epic movie! couple of wtf, fast and the furious 6 type moments, but still an awesome mecha movie

Crazy, Stupid, Love. 8/10.

Acting is good. Plot different, but definitely enjoyed it. Ryan Gosling was really smooth. I watched it with my missus under duress, but glad I did, even if I had to give up some gaming time.

Watched 2 movies last night:

- World War Z - Really enjoyed it!!!! Was hoping they would make a sequel, it ends in a way that you can expect one...

- The Great Gatsby - Interesting... Not what I expected, but a great plot and so on....

3:10 to Yuma. Surprisingly good movie. I felt spoiled by Bale's and Crowe's performances.
9/10

World War Z - again , now on bluray. It was a good movie , good acting , a not-so-generic story, and quite a few thrills. But lots of things didn't make sense in the movie, like in Jerusalem all the soldiers had AR15 , and I noticed only 1 soldier had a tar-21. The Tavor has been a standard issue in the IDF since 2009, so why the hell were the Israelis running around with american guns?
*SPOILER*
Another thing is the choppers cruising around Jerusalem - there was only 1 when the zombies started climbing over. When that one went down, there was 1 more. WTF you are telling me they used only 2 choppers out of the hundreds they have???
attempt at large-scale seriousness in the zombie genre, which resulted in a punchy, if conventional action thriller
This pretty much sums up the whole movie.
Anyway, 8/10.

totally agree on the WWZ apart from the minor gripes damn good movie

Pain & Gain. I don’t like Mark Wahlberg all that much, so I figured I wouldn’t enjoy it. But I have to say that with a great cast and some fairly good acting, even from Dwayne “formerly known as The Rock” Johnson, it wasn’t a bad film, and quite a few laughs were to be had.

Now you see me

Good. Not brilliant, but good. Enjoyed it. Was worth it. Didn't expect the ending, was a good twist:)

Watched Seven Psychopaths. I was told that if I liked Pain & Gain then I would enjoy this film. Good cast (Christopher Walken rarely lets me down), and it had a few twists. Rather enjoyable.

R.I.P.D..... may it rest in peace

Now You See Me - Very very good indeed! A definite must see
