What movie did you last watch thread.

Ok - So the movie i watched on friday night was one of those movies that you keep putting off watching. An Australian film that i didn't hold much hope for and literally the wife and i only watched because we had nothing else...

JOHN DOE - VIGILANTE - Blew me away, so much so that on monday morning i still cants stop thinking about the message. The acting was understated and brilliant and the story was Fantastic.

If you enjoy watching a movie that makes you think about life and the world and what we need to do to live in the world - WATCH THIS MOVIE.

Watched Fury a while back and also enjoyed the shit out of it. I don't care if it was a little over the top at the end either.

As for Birdman ............ just no. How people can enjoy that kak is beyond me.
 
Watched The Equalizer this weekend with my lady...Yeah not exactly a "Valentines" movie but that's how we roll! :D

Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised by it, considering I had heard NOTHING about it whatsoever. Not such a big fan of Denzel but he did seem to fit the role quite nicely :)
 
Put in Predator 2 this weekend as I was going through my Alien/Predator collection. Still enjoyed it given it's age, but damn, those pants Danny Glover is wearing...

it was ok, nothing spectacular

will yun lee is in there, and Michael Mando (vaas fro FC3) is also a minor character, plays out like most dance movies
 
Jupiter Ascending - 9/10

I love Sci Fi. Special effects were really good. Completely different plot to the usual. Great action and I just loved it. Three days later and I want to go back and watch it again. Cannot wait till they release it (legitimately!). Will be adding it to my humble collection.
 
EVE no Jikan (Time of EVE) - 11/10

Out of the 100+ anime films I have watched over the years this is the best anime film I have watched.
 
I watched Walk among Tombstones and and maze runner liked both actually

And watched bad boys again this morning man that just keeps on being a good movie
