What movie did you last watch thread.

Footloose was the first movie I saw at the theaters as a kiddo. Yes the first one. don't remember much except that I'm not allowed to put my feet on the chair in front of me... or kick it.

I watched Deadpool... and before that Deadpool... before that something with Capt'n Murica... I guess it was a Marvel-lous kind of month. I wanted to watch all his pre-story before I got to civil war, but I donno if I wanna watch all the good guys fighting over one seriously screwed up baddy... I think I should rather watch Deadpool again...

went to go see jungle book last night ! fcukn Amazeballzz, Wow @ the CGI

I watched the Jungle book 360 youtube video trailer on my google cardboard (need to get a gear) and it's awesome, the sense of scale is amazing.I remember watching the Disney cartoon in theatres all those years ago. I don't really care for the story but will defiantly watch it because its so awesome looking.

i watched the Huntsman with Charlene Theron and Chris Hemsworth and it was ok. didnt like hemsworth english/scotish accent at all. the story line was ok, thought it was quite a bit like Frozen though but more for adults

Nightcrawler

So flipin good. Gillenhall played that character amazingly. What a psycho, but a nice psycho, I could definitely have been friends with him :D

Watched X-Men Apocalypse this past weekend, and it was an okay enough movie.

(No Spoilers)
Things I loved:

 • James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are honestly amazing at their roles as the younger versions of Prof. X and Magneto.
 • The intro to new characters, Jean Grey and Scott Summers in particular stood out (they finally gave Cyclops a great portrayal, and I honestly thought Sophie Turner did a good job). Also, I liked this Nightcrawler as much as I did the version in X-2.
 • The intro to Apocalypse.
 • Quicksilver was cool once again.
 • The first best depiction Xavier's School for the Gifted.
 • The first hour of this movie was really fascinating.

Things I didn't like:

 • Some characters were underutilized.
 • Some characters felt unnecessary.
 • The movie felt tone deaf in the sense that it was very tonally inconsistent.
 • The follow-up to that is that the pacing also lacked any real balance.
 • Apocalypse after his intro.
 • The third act epic set piece (referring to scale rather than quality).
 • Jennifer Lawrence phoning in her performance as Mystique.

tl;dr It's a okay enough movie, but disappointed me just because of how great I felt First Class and Days of Future Past were as films that were a good contrast to the Marvel or DC Films. This, at least in my opinion ranks as one the weaker Bryan Singer directed X-Men movies. Days of Future Past > First Class > X-2 > Apocalypse.

I don't know, maybe I'm getting jaded?

Was at the warcraft pre-screening event this weekend, and that movie was awesome, now they need to bring out the second one. Even if you are not a warcraft fan, it is still worth checking out, the movie was really well done in my opinion in terms of CG and the fighting, I also liked the bit of humor they put in, felt it fit nicely. So all in all again really awesome movie. But please note that I am a HUGE war3 fanboy, so my opinion will probably be a bit bias in the movie's favour.

TechThief I was also at the pre screening, Emperors Palace, And I like you am a HUGE pre WOW fan...

I thought the movie was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be... As a movie, it held its own incredibly well, the whole thing was easy for fans and first timers to gome to terms with, there was nothing confusing about the story at all, the visual effects were ridiculous... The way they used magic was incredible... The fight scenes were EPIC, huge in scale, and just pure awesome...

I would highly recommend everyone goes and checks it out, especially if you have a soft spot for anything Warcraft related...

I finally Got to watch Creed, I enjoyed it wasn't as epic as the original rocky's but still good(then again i'm a sucker for any inspirational sport movie)
