What movie did you last watch thread.

Oblivion (finally). I really enjoyed it, had a very Outer Limits kinda feel to it. Cruise seems to be doing a lot of "based on a book" work lately

I watched Kull the Conquerer over the weekend amongst others, but this one in particular deserves special mention. It was by far one of the crappiest movies I have seen. Only reason why I didn't stop the movie 5 minutes in was because it was a lazy Sunday afternoon and I was lying on the couch and was too comfortable to get up and press stop.
Kevin Sorbet (guy who played Hercules in the series) was the main character.

I bet Krull had boobies in them, those B-Grade movies never disappoint in that department.

Kung Fu Hustle. Seriously, this is about the most entertaining film I've seen in a long time. I usually don't go for most of these films thinking them to be silly, but this has changed my perception a bit. It is silly, but funny as hell.

And the other one was Flight. Denzel's performance didn't disappoint. The best bit happened in the first half an hour, and the rest was quite slow moving, but I didn't fall asleep, so that must be worth something at least.

I had a craving for some cheese, so i decided to watch demolition man again. I didn't expect to still like that movie so much :D

Side note: If you haven't watched Oblivion yet then you have to make a plan! i really didn't expect it to turn out that well. But i was quite surprised.

Return of the living dead. Silly zombie movie but fun

Evil dead(2013)
Very gory and awesome movie really enjoyed it.

I saw 8mm for only about second or third time. It's a film that despite a seemingly overwhelmingly negative response from critics, I sort of enjoy. I don't know what that says about me. Most people's complaints are that it's almost too real; too gritty; just plain too much. It's a very dark film with a somewhat incomprehensible plot. It's the characters in it and the world itself which are interesting. Brutal, but interesting. I can't help but think that the line between film and documentary is blurred.

I also watched Olympus Has Fallen. I didn't really like it that much. I don't really go in for these cheesy patriotic type films with "God Bless America" and other clichés thrown around in them. I can't help but get the feeling that I've seen this film before. I initially thought this was going to be White House Down -- mistaking the one for the other seems to be a common issue.

That's why.
