What movie did you last watch thread.

Apparently he wanted 4 million a day for shooting the film. They offered him 3. He said no. I mean that's just stupid.

But hey maybe its for the best, because Han Solo took his place :D

And I actually liked the Expendables.

I like it as well. Sure it won't win any Oscars, but for pure escapism it does pretty well. Like the last two Fast & Furious movies, craziest plots you can think about, but just seeing how they pull it off made the cinema crowd cheer it on. Before F&F6 I have never been in a cinema where the audience where applauding during the movie, never mind after it.

I thought Riddick was a good follow up to Pitch Black. A lot of people obviously didn't like the intelligent approach of the movie.

I watched Riddick and was a little disappointed, after The Chronicles, which I thought had a great story and built so much onto the riddick universe. But Riddick? imho, it felt drawn out. He could have accomplished what he wanted in less than five minutes with his skills and be out of there, instead, it drags on for the whoooooooole movie. Again, imho, they lost out on a massive opportunity for a new and great sci-fi direction.

Watched Diana tonight. I love Naomi Watts and think she did really well in the role but ultimately the film was a bit of a yawn.

Die Hard 1 is my favourite, and Die Hard with a Vengeance is a close second. The fourth one is good too. I think we can all agree that the most recent one is a turd. It's the one Die Hard film that would have functioned better without Willis in it, in my opinion.

lol, I seem to disagree a bit.

1st : Awesome, my fav movie.
2nd : Not too shabby, good movie.
3rd : Its ok, felt they slipped a bit
4th : That hacker kiddie spoiled the whole movie, I got tired of his whining after 5 mins
5th : Back to form, liked the banter between Snr and Jnr. Nice action scenes.

Its good, not great tho.

I was expecting more funny bits thanks to the trailer, so it was rather disappointing.

I kind of disagree somewhat, I felt it was probably one of the most ambitious Disney Princess movies.

I loved the theatrics of it all (I think they should go broadway with it, honestly).

The story being presented is also not the usual Disney Princess story we're usually fed. And this story was actually rather good. The twist involving the villain, along with the way they decided to end it? Great

I'm actually glad the story was only punctuated by the funny bits as opposed to them being the focus of the movie (olaf certainly did his part, even if there was some dark humour there... His dream :D). It's also a very visually engaging movie in terms of what they do with the animation and the art direction.

Don't get me wrong though, the movie is also flawed in some ways (the story mostly). The story touched on certain ideas that weren't really explored further for them to make a bigger impact. There were also a few things that point blank didn't make sense and had me going wtf in my seat.

But in my opinion, brilliant movie all round, flaws and all.

Just watched MAN OF STEEL, I was impressed but didn't enjoy it that much, it felt like they put too much story in 1 movie.

I watched Pacific rim for the first time most 'anime' movie I have seen, pretty good two thumbs up.

Felt like a mash up between Godzilla and Transformers for me. Did enjoy it, but not us much as they hype led me to believe. Did have that Japan vibe to it during the fight scenes.

The Transformers aspect is what's put me off watching it so far. I really need to get around to it, I've heard good things. Anyway, watched the Evil Dead remake last night. Haven't seen the original but I'm aware of its iconic legacy. I don't think I've ever seen so much blood in one movie but it was amazing.

Not a big superman fan so think I'll pass.

I felt the same before being dragged along to watch it, and it ended up being one of the best films I saw last year. At least give it a try. It's hardly anything like the previous Superman films.

Okay, will take that into consideration then I'll probably have to contact my cousin who's a die-hard superman fan lol

You can not go wrong with man of steel, but i just watched Enders game and it's a decent movie not the best out there but it's worth watching

Just finished watching Roll Models. Until today I have never heard of this movie.

Its not that good really, a few funny parts. Was an awesome to pass time on this hot hot hot Saturday.
