What movie did you last watch thread.

Saturday I was on slow-mo, so I watched LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers, both the extended versions. That's almost 8 hours of movie. But I enjoyed it so much. There's really a lot of additional material.

The name is a dead giveaway...has there ever been a good movie containing the word 'Buddies'?

Well, depends on the type of movie. The one(s) that sprung to mind, and ashamedly rather quickly, might not be suitable for a family forum. Starts with an "F" and rhymes with duck. These movies also don't win any Oscars.

You can't judge it before finishing it :p I loved it!

Probably picks up a bit then, I must try out the second half. I was quite tired last night though so I probably wasn't in the right mood for it either.

Me and my buddies, imdb and wikipedia, have spent some considerable time trying to prove you wrong. Sadly, we couldn't.
Best we could do is this: IMDB: Buddies

Original title Colegas, made in Brazil, language Portuguese.

Colegas (Buddies) is a road movie that shows the simple things in life in a poetic light through the eyes of three young people with Down syndrome, who love movies and work at the video library of the institution where they have always lived in. One day, inspired by the movie "Thelma & Louise", they decide to run away using the gardener's old car to have a freedom experience. They travel to uncommon places in search for three simple wishes: Stalone wants to see the sea, Aninha looks for a husband and Marcio needs to fly. During this search, they embark on several adventures as if life was just a children's play.

Watched This is the End last night, i thought it was pretty funny, seemed to have gotten mixed reviews from critics, but everyone I've asked loved it.

Yeah I loved it too. I never understood the hate. But then most of my favourite films received awful reviews from critics. They seem to prefer those artsy type movies.

I just watched The big fat liar it is very funny but I think the movie's target group is mainly children though I enjoyed this movie, it is a good movie and made in 2002,

Just as good as the first time I saw it (in cinema). One of the best book-to-film adaptations I have seen.
