what is it about anyway, I see it was showing in the cinema's but people coming out of the cinema did not look happy at all, but people coming out of leon schusters movie laughed all the way till the car.

Captain Phillips is about the captain of a boat that was taken over by pirates (not your Johnny Depp kind). Based on a true story and supposedly very good. Haven't seen it myself though.

Watched Captain Phillips last night! What a great movie! Hectic but well worth the time! Its all about how the captain reacts to the pirates, and what choices he makes...

it's based on a true story, where an american cargo ship got attacked bu somali pirates. cannot give any more spoilers :)

It's on my to-watch list amongst a few other titles I have read about on here. I guess my movie/series watching will pick up again after the current scenario Mygaming is finding itself in.
 
The new hunger games I thought was not as good as the first one, I always love to first movie in every series of movies, in the sequal it felt like they tried too hard.

Meant number 2 because it was the last movie I watched. And yeah number one was better but I still enjoyed the second movie, I loved the cliffhanger ending. :)

The Hobbit on the other hand I was grossly frustrated with because now I have to wait until the end of the year for the final movie! :(

I wonder if once they are done if any of the books Christopher Tolkien worked on would make good movies?
