What piece of hardware are you planning/hoping to upgrade next?

It seems that most of the MyGaming forumites are PC gamers (whether exclusively or inclusively) and so I thought it would be interesting/fun to see what we all have next on our hardware wishlist.

The next component upgrade I'd like to get is a new PC case. My old Raidmax Aztec has serve me well barring some renovations where I had to cut out a section of the HDD cage in order to fit in a graphics card. I'd love to get the Phanteks PH-ES614P Enthoo Pro

What hardware are you looking at getting next? Why?

Was hoping to get the 1080ti HOF. But due to lack of any sort of info, will be getting the Asus ROG Strix 1080ti OC instead

I'm thinking of doing a more compact build using the Corsair 380T chassis, which will require a new mobo at least. So i might as well jump to skylake while i'm at it.

Everything basically, need a new motherboard in order to upgrade my CPU, need a new GPU since everything needs 2gb memory these days, I think my RAM is starting to go, so gonna need to get new ones of those as well. Problem is since I have no job yet so chances are won't be able to upgrade until after i get a job and pay back student loan, sigh -_-

Atm I have a full tower and thinking of changing my whole build to a compact build. The only problem might be I need a seperate case for my hdd since I use a lot of disk space.

I won a R1000 Takealot voucher a while back and since then I've been waiting for Cooler Master to bring the Mastermouse S to South Africa. I keep bugging them on Facebook but nothing yet. :)

I'm picky and did some proper research on mice our there. The Mastermouse S looks like exactly the mouse that I want.

*edit*

Actually I read now that there's a problem with the cable of the mouse so there goes that idea. Apparently they are working on it.

I have a five year old i7 PC that I have only even upgraded the GFX card for. The AMD R9-280X still performs decently, but the time has come.

I will be looking at a Kaby Lake i5 system with a 1070 gfx card. Been looking at prices but just cannot justify it... yet! Its coming though!

I want the 600, I was trying to convince myself to go for that but inexperience + power is a bad combination. Good taste [emoji108]

The only "bad thing" is the link between the brain and the right hand. And with more power and a lack of experience you can just get into deeper trouble a lot quicker.

Strix OC 1080ti, Trident Z Ram, Fans and Kraken cooler should all be arriving soon
