Firstly, that's why I'm not insulting them per se. However, yes, the effort to bad rep my comment is indicative of that... oh wait.

Seriously though guys, the reality is, we are different people, and we are all offended by one thing or the next, so something will always offend the next person. And you know what? It's fine, sometimes it's warranted, sometimes it isn't (I'm not going to say who gets to draw that distinction). But let's not get nasty with each other, it's unnecessary and it fosters a toxic environment. Air your grievances, share your opinions, but there's no need for either parties to get nasty.

Fair enough. I have a healthy argumentative nature and learn more from such interactions than I do by just abiding by the norm and agreeing with everyone - as is usually expected.
Simple how that would make it seem like the case, but in truth, I don't take this to heart. I might argue till dawn, that does not however mean it would be the life or death of me. I don't really care what the result would be, sadly everything just eventually settles back to an ignorant norm.
I'm used to that, I expect that. I always look for an unexpected result, but the pursuit is all I need to argue. However, I do believe their is a silly double standard that looms over this forum and I will argue that in the least.

I think that the point that Dee is trying to make is that whilst it is impossible for everyone to agree with one another on all matters; it is still possible to engage in conflicting rhetoric without aggravating the parties whom hold opposing viewpoints. You HAVE made good points, however don't you think it's kind of counter-intuitive that the message of your arguments sometimes get lost in the scathing nature of your delivery? (Again this applies to many people on the forum)
I think that we as a forum need to begin beleaguering the points of opposing arguments and not simply the individuals espousing them.
