Hectique ... it's like when I bought my longboard for 7 clips. It was a helluva lot of money for a board, but I just equated it to people with other hobbies and realised fishermen spend a lot more on their gear - and casual cyclists have bikes going for R10k ... so if it's your hobby, then what else would you have spent the money on for the same amount of entertainment / satisfaction anyway?

What case are you going to stick all of this into? (And have you insured it?)

But what if you have more than one hobby? Like fishing AND gaming :D

Got a Thermaltake V4 Case. not the best out there but it has the space I need to add some proper cooling at a later stage.

And yes I agree with your statement, people spend a lot of money on their hobbies and that is how I sold the idea of spending the money to my wife :) That and its my job, reason for getting 12gb Ram is that now I can run VMs without hassles.

Insurance is covered :) Lightning stay away!!
