Hi guys. I just wanna ask you guys what you think of this build i suggested to my Brother-in-law.

- Core i5 760 (or should i tell him to get a i7 870)
- Gigabyte P55A-UD7
- Transcend aXeRam DDR3-2000 4GB Gaming RAM Kit
- Gigabyte 5770 (he has a 5770 already)
- CoolerMaster Silent pro 600w
- Widows 7 pro

The rest he all has. Its just an upgrade. What do you think? Could you please suggest other products if you dont agree with what i have selected.
 
I wouldn't bother with Win Pro unless he needs to connect to domain networks and needs XP compatibility mode?

i7 870 if he can afford it. Very nice CPU. I've got mine OC'ed to 3.67Ghz with a coolermaster V8 cooler.

I assume you want to xfire the cards? Otherwise if he can, go for 6870. maybe take the i5 760 and get bigger VGA?
 
Ja. The thing is he wants to run xfire. That is why he is getting the second 5770. And for the PSU, i think its R1200, round about there.

I'm getting the i5 760. Very good. If you are going to go that route I suggest only buying 1333MHz Ram, as that is the max speed it can take. The extra speed is just wasted otherwise.
