Your question is very open and the answer will 100% be based on what type of games you enjoy. I don't do any gaming on PS, so for me Xbox would be Gears of War and Halo. The rest you'll have to try and see what works for you.

I would say get battlefield 3

i started to play it a week or so ago, did the single player a bit and then tried the multi-player .... boom a week gone of my life.

even a beginner will get a few kills every game. lots of fun.
