What's the greatest game of this generation?

Game of the Generation?

How the hell is Mario not the winner here then?

Or is someone of my age no longer considered as "this generation" :)
 
For this generation (post Xbox 360) I would definitely say The Last of Us, because for me it was a revelation in the gaming space that I haven't experienced since the "PS2" generation.

Isn't open world and sandbox the same? The world is only as open as the sandbox :p

There are tons of internet debate on Skyrim VS Morrowind, so not going to go into that.
Just don't be so quick to express subjective opinion as fact :)

I actually think The Witcher 3 is going to trounce the Elder Scrolls games quite significantly. The problem with the Elder Scrolls games is they lack of depth, because nothing you do in the world actually matters.

Agree to some degree (oh gawd, I should not do that again :o).
The story of the witcher series is more focused and grittier than the elder scroll series, but there isn't that many stuff to do besides quests. Hopefully The witcher 3 brings in the sandbox elements to bring it to new heights :D
 
All the games that made the last 16 are good games. I know i looked forward to playing skyrim for a long time.
But i like all the Bathesda games.

I think that it's my opinion is pretty obvious.

Edit: although come to think of it, as a RPG, morrowind is definitely better. :p

I respect everyone's opinions but you're all wrong. The best game this generation is, of course, Mass Effect. Bar none thank you and goodnight :p
