Whats the scariest game you ever played?

I've always loved the horror genre and recently started playing Doom 3 again. Holy moly. I have to take breaks now and again and watch some Disney in between levels.

I'm thinking this might be the scariest game I've played. Its actually a toss up between this and the first FEAR.

Whats your scariest game?
 
Doom3 seems like Teletubbies riding on Ponies over rainbows next to chocolate filled rivers and dancing children after playing Amnesia : The Dark Descent

Call of Cthulu was rerig ook baie goed en scary. Nou net jammer nommer 2 is gecancel, ek is heavy in die Cthulu Mythos in
 
As cliche as it sounds, Amnesia. Could never complete that game.

Doom 3 was scary for the first 3 hours, thereafter it got boring because you could practically anticipate when you were going to encounter a monster closet.
 
You know S.ta.l.k.e.r Shadow Of chernobyl's underground levels were pretty scary at points. Otherwise another game that got me all freaked out was Amnesia.
 
Odly enough, Doom3 was the same for me - playing it at night with surround sound ... and NOT trying to do a speed run, and actually reading all the pdf notes and listening to the commentaires. Sounds corny, but it can get unnerving at times. Espcially that bit with the demonic circle and the organic growths on the walls, they also had the crying baby effects their which always hits a nerve ^^
Its a pity they didn't exploit that side of the game nearly enough - cause it could have been really great.

I must still try out amnesia - as lots of people talk about its fear factor
 
The only scary games I've ever played were the terrible ones, it is scary to think about how they got through the Quality Control and Mastering Process without being cancelled
Also for pure Shock Value, Phantasmagoria, kept you constantly wondering what was going to jump out at you next and also kept nurturing a fear that one of the 7 Cd's would go missing
 
Amnesia was so freaking nerve racking.

Silent hill 2 managed to creep its way into my head(solitude will know what I mean)
Its my fav scary game. Just so creepy and so many theories of the game which make it creepier.

Thats about the only games that ever scared me.
 
Meh new games don't come close to games like Clock tower II ..Maybe it was because I was still young...but omg that was a scary game.
