I was hoping to get VDSL where I live now, but so far Telkom has basically given me the middle finger. I still have to complain on Hello Peter and the Telkom FB page.

Oh right, I forgot about dialup. We had a 300baud at first, but it was all local BBS' so there was no payments involved. I had a 14.4k connection with my first ISP that I paid for after university.
