Where dit you meet up with your current partner ?

Who needs a wife? I got 5 of them and they all annoy me and abuse my capital... Heh

Seriously, I met her while browsing a video store for some videos, invited her over to my place to watch the video with me. And since then we've been together. I want to pop the question in a couple of months, as soon as I finished this contract and recieve my nice bonus.

Met my wife almost 10 years ago, she was the waitress at a pub, took me about a year to ask her out. We got married last year and our first born is on it's way.

I hope she doesn't read these forums... especially if it's meant to be a surprise! Hahaha!

No, she looks and sees "o, computer stuff" close, close. lol, she knows I want to propose soon but we both want to wait till we are more stable financially.

I have a lead up to meeting my bf which is half a internet meet up and half a drunken stupor party to good ol fashion chatting as friends first building up courage to ask out.

Met my bf indirectly through IRC back when I was turning 16. (over 13 - 14 years ago)
I think it was the zanet or dalnet or sumthing. Went on the 5fm channel & cape town one.
Organised to meet his friend who I was ircing with at a house party as they lived down the road, met him there at the party, ended up drinking to much, almost puking on him, he had to carry me home over his shoulder while was I was screaming "I'm flying" most of the way. This was how I ended up seeing him quite a few times after that - always me being piss drunk and/or stoned, he never actually saw who I really was, so we never really hit it off. This was still in the innocentish days before turned 16.

Anyway, some time passed and saw him at the train station in mornings on the way to college, we ended up chatting waiting for the train, eventually becoming better friends, we found out we had quite a bit in common with gaming and whatnot, and eventually we starting dating and going out. He asked me out on the train. 13 years later still going strong.
