Which game client do you hate the most?

Got a nice surprise from Origin this morning. A voucher for a free game! To say sorry for any hassle with the client last week apparently. Fine print says the voucher can't be used for preorders but it's valid till the end of the year so not bad :) And it's valid for South African users!

Thank you Origin, even though I didn't have any hassles I'll gladly take the game.

Also got the same email with code I can redeem for a game. Haven't been online with my pc in about a week or so, so got no idea what my supposed issue with Origin was :/ lol.
 
Is it possible to use steam to download your games on one pc, say at varsity, and then transfer them to the pc you actually plan to play the games on? I just don't have the bandwidth available at home to download games but I could do it on my laptop at uni.

Yeah you can do this, you can use the backup feature and just copy the backups to the gameing pc and restore them on your steam.

Yes, Steam is excellent in that regard. I simply moved my hard drive from my old PC to my new one and all my Steam games just worked. Also, I have a buddy that also has steam and if he buys a game that I already have, I simply copy the "\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Game Name\" folder over to him and done.
 
Goodness gracious... GFWL... Need I say more? Have had SO many issues with my account. Everytime it's like. , "YEAH, time to get my game face on!" Then once you hit the bit where you have to log in all hope is lost, the game is uninstalled, left in a dusty box in the corner never to see the light of day. Or at least till I take a chill pill and try again :-P

I like battlenet, i think that does everything right! If only EA did that for BF3.
Steam: Always crashes or has a update with me.
Orgin: , just doesnt do things it should do, like have a browser in it for starters.
Windows live: Again does nothing for me to want to use it.

Fully agree here. Why do I need to install tons of crap software to be able to play a damn game. Bring back the good old days. +2 for Blizzard

If by old days you mean when we didn't need clients at all I am all for it. Steam is just another waste of resources and time.
