Which game has made you the angriest?

Not too long ago I played Ori and the Blind Forest and it is an amazing game, but certain parts were also really rage inducing, especially the parts where you had to escape from something and it was one continuous run until you escaped, no saves in between.

I rage quit the game several times during these runs before getting to the point of breaking my controller. The water tree run stands out for me as the most rage inducing.

Lords of the Fallen also made me rage quit a few times before I just stopped playing the game. I just kept on dying and then you have to replay a whole part, screw that noise. Probably why I never got into either of the Dark Souls games.

What game has made you the angriest/rage the hardest?

Any game.

But most specifically in a FPS (Online/Offline) when I reload the gun after a kill, a swarm of enemies fires on you.

Probably in this order:

1. God of War 3
2. Uncharted
3. Dark Souls
4. Midnight Club: LA
5. Killzone 3
6. Assassin's Creed

P.S. I know it's game, not games.

I can agree with that tree escape section from Ori and the Blind Forest. That was frustratingly unforgiving. Then the canon and crossbow sixaxis motion control moments from Heavenly Sword come to mind as well. I took days to get the hang of it and nearly threw my controller through the screen in the process.

Gotta say I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit but the only game that has made me consistently ragequit it repeatedly has been Batman: Arkham City.

I Damn well pressed that counter button why didn't you block???

I put it down to me being super perfectionist when it comes to the medal/challenge maps, where i'll restart a round after 1 hit...and those tougher maps have quite intense round 3 and 4's...

I still have an itch to complete it though....100% achieve and all :(

need for speed the Run

Never have i experienced such shit ai in my life

YES!

Holy cow that game was annoying. What? you've been in the lead the entire race with an obviously superior car? lets put the end of the race after a boring stretch so you can cry and watch all the cars just pass you and there's nothing you can do about it because you're at max speed

F#*$ that

I remember that water tree, it was late and I was getting tired when I tried to do this, needless to say it got pretty frustrating and I seemed to get worse. But when I returned to it the next day it didn't take me too long to beat.

On the topic of platformers, Rayman Origins could be pretty tough especially when it came to the parts where you chase after a running chest to get the red crystal from it - those could be very, very, very annoying.

Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Hated the whole "run around until you trigger an event" thing. After having to google the 5th sequence I decided to uninstall it. I get that its a puzzle game but really now...I should not need a game guide to figure out that I'm short an extra object and that I can find said object 50 meters away, in the bushes and its a freaking dark object at night on black ground. Could have spent hours looking for the damn thing (not that I knew I had to look for a 6th object)...

Midnight club 2 ..... nothing but nothing was worse than this... I lost a screen several keyboards and a mouse to this game .

If you had played midnight club 2 you would understand. Unfair cars taht you need to race , and the random cars close to the finish line is like homing missiles. They hunt you down. Took me almost a week to beat the final boss. It was CRAZY/

I pretty much do not get angry when playing games - do not care how frustrating, usually just move on to something else and I play to have fun. No fun - no play. I do not really care if people shoot the crap out of me and I have 1 kill the whole game as long as obtaining the 1 kill was fun. (As example)

Did I get angry before - Yes! Playing WWF4 and Mortal Kombat 3 against my brother. Somehow he just does this one simple move the whole time that renders it impossible for you to do anything but die. WWF4 he would play BAM BAM Bigalow and if he gets one flamed head but in, he grabs you and follows up with a 24 hit combo and you are dead. Mortal Kombat he played Cyrix, I think, and start off throwing 3 bombs (far, middle and close) - You jump he slam dunks you from the air, you don't - possibly blow up into the air, block he throws another 3. Now once you are in the air, he slam dunks you from the air and you bounce when you hit the floor and he then catches you in a net mid-air and uppercuts you into the air again and slams you again - you are dead. Nothing I try helps - he just does the same routine over and over like a mechanical robot to perfection - now that is frustrating.

The only game I can recall that frustrated me due to bugs/issues was Dungeon Lords - The game had so much potential and I ended up buying Dungeon Lords mmxii where all the bugs are suposed ly fixed. But it had this bug where it automatically switched between melee and ranged weapons - I couldn't handle that and stopped playing the game early on. (Went far in the game with the first release though - It was less frustrating than the 'fixed' version)

I've got Midnight Club 2 in my Steam backlog, but after reading about the frustration that this game has caused it may just stay unplayed.

Surprisingly not Dark Souls.

But in terms of rage, I would have to say OlliOlli and OlliOlli2.
In terms of frustration, that goes to The Order: 1886.
