Which game provides a most accurate view of our future?

Buuuuuut lets face it, as stupid as it may sound, I think there is some truth to what I am saying. Think about it, there is already planned missions to space to see where we can go colonize other planets, what are we then?? We are... Terran!

And how daft must u be to believe there is nothing living in the known and unknown universe other than ourselves, and for all we might know, zerg and protoss or races like that could be out there...

I want to be an Archon, I will join Auir just to become an Archon!!

A game that also quite captured an alternative reality that for the briefest of moments actually looked plausible is Homefront. If Kim Jong Un got his way that game would've been based off current events.

You're supposed to... erm.. squat, not stand. No wonder people couldn't aim :p

Supposed to be "healthier" than normal sitting toilets since it's more "natural." Avoid haemorrhoids and all that :D

I don't expect it would become as dystopian as the fiction makes it though, but it could be possible that we'd all have to fight it out to get drugs to prevent our bodies from rejecting the augmentation (just look at trying to get care and payments out of medical aid and other health-care issues before even considering drug company trademarks and drama), but I think it's also fairly likely that it would develop to a point that wouldn't require drugs and perhaps augmentation may well be more bio than mechanical.

I think we live in interesting times and I hope to live long enough to see that kind of technology become successful.

I agree. Augmentation, nano tech and the like will be in out future as nano tech is currently in development in some or other form. I cannot see space exploration and colonization happening like in Mass Effect like games, but the small things will happen soon. Robotics is moving ahead at a rappid pace and it is scare to see what they are doing with 3D printing and genetics. It is exciting times indeed.

Deus Ex most definitely. Mega Corporations practically ruling countries, Google Inc, Walmart and McDonalds both trying to run the US. stuff like that. Dishonoured is a bit far off I think. I think we can even begin to expect an Elysium-esque seperation of classes. the super rich seperating themselves completely from the commoners as soon as robotics are a sure thing that can replace human labour. After that, look at Mass Effect type space travel and the inevitable "someone doing something to the sun they shouldn't have and now we're doomed" kind of situation, keeping in mind that danger is constant throughout the advancement.
