Which game should I play next? (based on what ive played and enjoyed)

Best way to work it is to rather ask people this -- "I am looking to play either titles X, Y, and Z. Which one would you people suggest and why?". Or, "I am looking for something that plays like this. What would you suggest?".

Those are the best ways considering we might be suggesting things you may have already played and hated.

99% of the games mentioned I haven't played. :) So I welcome all these suggestions. Gonna be getting my game on in the weeks/months ahead. ^_^

Finished Max Payne today - now to choose the next title

Max Payne wasn't bad. Felt the difficulty now and again was frustrating. Bullet Time didn't work that leka in first game.

Mid to third way of the game started getting boring. Second half of chapter 2 onwards. Then got okay again Chapter 3.

Preferred Max Payne 2 by far.

Crysis 2 is great SP and MP. Provides hours of entertainment.
I'm looking for the most fun RPG. I just have that feeling in my bones and need an RPG.
So from reading all the threads, Witcher 2 seems to be pretty awesome.
 
I agree with previous posts on this thread. I recommend Mass Effect 1 and 2. Also both The Witcher and the Witcher 2. You cannot go wrong.
 
Playing FarCry now and oh wow.. the voice acting and dialogue is terrible!

Graphics also average for 2004 game in my opinion. If I recall correctly Half Life 2 Source was 2004 and for the same time period, its not up to scratch. What mad FarCry so special... crytek engine? I know it was used as a tech demo, but for what?

Source Engine really does look better. What am I missing upon first inspection?
 
wow. found a small bug in FarCry. Doing an event in the wrong order (by mistake) totally confuses the game sequence. Still works, but the story and sequence gets stuffed up. :P

GameSpot (I think it was) reviewed this game and compared it to Half-Life.... I dont think FarCry is anything near Half Life... this is somewhat sad. 4/10 so far. Only worth a play through if there is no other FPS title handy imo.

farcry was far from a good game for me... it was one of those games like crysis... only made for testing your GPU... games have no gameplay anymore... sad... sigh!!

Even with the bad acting etc I am still having some fun with it, but yeah... Its more comedic than anything else. :P
