Which games are you still looking forward to in 2013?

I enjoyed AC3 at the start - quite enjoyed Haythem Kenway as a character, Connor isn't as interesting. The reason I haven't finished is that there's too much to do - and while I could ignore all the sidequests and collectibles it just doesn't feel right to ignore all that content. The other frustration is the often annoying full-sync requirements (optional as well though so maybe I should just ignore them)

The stand-out best part of the game is the naval combat and I remember thinking how cool it would be to be a pirate assassin, engaging in naval battles and exploring lush tropical islands. And then AC4 was revealed promising all of that - so I can't ignore it, it could be brilliant, but I'm cautious.

Had a dream about GTA V last night... so that.
Call of Duty: Ghosts
and... [Will add more once I remember more]

The Bureau XCOM Declassified
BF4
Saint's Row IV
Watch Dogs
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Batman: Arkham Origins

--EDIT--
King of Fighters XIII
Skullgirls
Also need to buy Mortal Kombat

... Dee needs all the games

In order of anticipation:

1 - Call of Duty Ghosts
2 - Final Fantasy 14
3 - GTA V
4 - Watch Dogs

The AC series has died a horrible death after AC3. Black Flag is nothing more than a 3rd person Sid Meier's Pirates!.

I cannot say I'm looking forward to playing SR4. It looks like SR:TT in a different wallpaper, with superpowers and a night-night cycle.

Yeah, I'm ok with that. More over-top-crazy action. I don't mind if they don't do major graphics improvements or anything... If they have a good formula, I don't see why they should change it. If I get 10 - 20 hours of entertainment from it, it would be worth it.

If I get it, I'll play it, otherwise... I don't want it.

I don't see the problem here. What you describe sounds awesome.

Gonna pick mine up in a few minutes, I cannot wait. :D

Superpowers? Slight gameplay change (which, from the video reviews I've seen thus far, affects the gameplay in a big way).

The story? Very different from any Saints Row game in the series , it may not be unique in the Gamesphere (Another Dee copyright :p), but it is unique within the Saints Row franchise.

The level design? It seems to have been designed with the super powers addition in mind, along with the aliens (scaling), which implies change (not necessarily big changes).

I don't know man, this seems like a game that is different from Saints Row The Third, yet it still retains most of what makes it a Saints Row game.

Changes in how you play the game, and changes in the story and its scope. Any more changes could probably result in a new game, that wouldn't be a Saints Row game.

... Not trying to convince you to look forward to it, just questioning your assertion that it's the same game as its predecessor.

Let's just say Saints Row: The Third was/is where I end.

Very valid points made, as per usual. I think my opinions are solely based on what I would've wanted to see, rather than embrace it for what it's actually worth.

You're a gang leader and President of the U.S.A... what's not to like. It's like a dream.

You should play it dude. I'm about 4 hours in now and it is a LOT of fun. The addition of the superpowers is awesome. It kinda feels like SR3 mixed with [PROTOTYPE2] and inFAMOUS, but the same Saint's Row twist.

Also, Johnny Gat is back.
