EDIT: Ended up buying a MSI HD6770, thanks for all your help fellow gamers

So its time for an upgrade and at my budget of 1k I have these 2 options

Asus EAH6670/Di/1GD3 (Rebeltech)
R980.08
Asus EAH6670/Di/1GD3 , 40nm , HDMi ready , support Eyefinity + DirectX 11 , built-in HDMi codec+7.1 audio , 1080p HDCP Compliant , pci-e 2.0 x16 , 1Gb/1024mb 128bit 4 channel DDR5 , RoPs : 8 , 64Gb/sec memory transfer ; 480 stream processors ( pixel shader engine + vertex pipelines ) , 24 texture unit , 768 GigaFLoPs , core/memory : 800/1800mhz , dvi+Hdmi+d-sub with d-sub adapter , HDTV+HDMi tv-out - full retail pack

Sapphire HD6670 Direct X 11 1GB 128 bit 4 channel DDR3 Graphics Card (Zaps)
R958
40nm , HDMi ready , support Eyefinity + DirectX 11 , built-in HDMi codec+7.1 audio , 1080p HDCP Compliant , pci-e 2.0 x16 , 1Gb/1024mb 128bit 4 channel DDR3 , RoPs : 8 , 64Gb/sec memory transfer ; 480 stream processors ( pixel shader engine + vertex pipelines ) , 24 texture unit , 768 GigaFLoPs , core/memory : 800/1600mhz , dvi+D-sub+Hdmi , HDTV+HDMi tv-out - full retail pack

Now 2 things come down to this decision, first which is the better card? they have the same specs? and second, does Rebaltech charge for shipping on one item? as opposed to Zaps R60 fee?

Thanks guys :)

inb4 "what about this nvidia" I'm an ATI fan boy by circumstance, 7 buggered Nvidias leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Cardwise I would normally choose the Asus, but in this case the Sapphire looks like it has a better cooling unit, Storewise I would choose Zaps. I doubt there will be much if any difference between the two cards. Yeah go for the Sapphire and Zaps.

id really advise you to save more and buy a better card. You are upgrading to old tech. You need a 5870 or 6870 minimum. there is no point upgrading now.

You must take into account the shipping costs, otherwise what ever is cheapest after shipping is good. But after looking at the specs the Asus seems to be the better bet, I would go for that one over the Sapphire.

It's worth it I'd say. I am a huge AMD /ATI fan, maybe try and look for a 5770 as it's a decent card. Might even give the 6670 a run for it's money.

Or if you really want to go with ATI then go for this: http://rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=45_46_50&products_id=7955

Sorry here's the 1GB version: http://rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=45_46_50&products_id=9132

*EDIT*

Tpex thanks to you, I'm going crazy looking for a nice card. Dude go for this beauty please! She won't disappoint, my friend has exactly the same card: http://www.zapsonline.com/new-6000-...gd5-1gb-ddr5-128bit-memory-graphics-card.html

Sorry Axon I'm to diehard to buy an Nvidia, The HD6750 looks good but its 100mhz slower then the 6670 :/

ooh but that MSI... I think i should work tonight so I can buy it ASAP!

I would probably go with the Sapphire one if I were you. my 5770 is Asus and it is a nice card over all, except I have always struggled to get the card working nicely with the driver's and utilities.
