Which Multi-player game (& community) would you resurrect if you could?

The other day I tried out the For Honor closed beta despite all its new shininess it made me feel like playing Chivalry Medieval Warfare again. I reinstalled Chivalry even though I was doubtful any one local would be still playing it. There was a SA server at least, but it was empty. Still wanting to play I connected to the next lowest ping to Europe I could find, it was playable for the most part but not quite like playing locally.

It would be great if some SA servers and local players started up again all for my sake... but it got me thinking which MP game and community would you resurrect if you could?

The best online experience I've had by far was GTA Online following its initial launch on PS3 and Xbox 360. A huge number of SA Gamer players were on PS3 and almost every lobby was at least half comprised of locals. Man it was epic. Everyone playing together nicely and joining up for activities.

Those days are long gone. A tiny fraction of that number are still interested in the game, they're fractured across more platforms now and the game has gone down the toilet thanks to price increases and nerfed cash and RP payouts from Rockstar. Modding is the only way to freely play the game, so a massive number of people mod and grief others when they get bored. Game is mostly rubbish now.

Tkok (The Kingdom of Kaliron). MAN that game was fun. ARPG mod on warcraft 3, like a mix of WoW and dota, with boss fights and centered around teamplay (you cannot solo this game at all, you need a dedicated tank, dps, heal to get anywhere).

Sadly the community became fractured, and it hasn't been the same since.

I was part of the Unreal-ZA community back in the day and still have my community member shirts. Some of my fondest memories and made some really good friends. Alas, that was the days of UT99 and my competitive gaming. Now I just game for fun with a bunch of idiots :p
