Do you cook at all? Do you like it? Are you decent at it if you do or do you just continue to churn out awful food :D

Me, I can't cook a big variety but what I can make, I enjoy making and it goes down a treat with everyone :D My signature dish is a Lemon Chicken Pasta dish ..... it makes the womens swoon, lol :D
 
I do quite a bit of cooking. made some nice schnitzels over the weekend. But making pasta is my favorite:D

But I'm very much like Charlie Crews. I LOVE my fruit. I would die if could not have fruit :-/
 
Not to bad in the kitchen ... my specialty would be between Mexican burritos and a thai curry dish I make
 
thai food isnt really that hard to do if you know what ur doing lol... :p but I enjoy Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malasyian.... ok to cut it down short Asian food (Excluding the whole dog, cat , rat thing lol...) :p

LOL Well i wanted to be a chef. Started training at the parktonian in Jhb but i gave it up(long story)
Yip I can cook better than most people..lol!!
Ive done a couple of 3 and 4 course dinners for family and friends. I was asked to cook for my cousins clients 4 times last year.

Cooking isn't difficult at all. It's making good sauces or vinaigrette to complement your dish that is the tricky part :P
 
Here's a recent one that turned out the shizniz ... and dead simple too :D

Chicken Meatballs with Pasta and Sauce -

Take a packet of chicken mince.
Add salt, pepper, sweet chili sauce and finely chopped dried apricot.
Mix and roll into mini meatballs.
Fry the meatballs until just browning (doesn't take long).
Then take garlic, sliced leeks, diced green pepper and a knob of butter together in a pan and cook until soft.
Add cream and let it simmer for 3 minutes before adding the meatballs (and a bit of feta) in and add pasta of choice.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve
 
Lemon Chicken Pasta is farking easy man.

you take a chicken and gooi it in a pot. preferably not KFC or a feathered one. also not chicken little cause then Pixar Disney will sue you.

you let it go at its own thing in the pot a while, then you take a lemon and gooi it in the pot aswell. leave the peel on to make it chewy. add 2 lemons for 2 ppl so they can chewy it lekker.

then you take pasta and gooi it with the chicken and the lemon in the pot.

you wait for the pasta to make some weird italian noise and then you know its done.

take it out and gooi it on a plate. serve hot.
 
That sounds half decent that! Will come post a killer "Ouma se Sosaties" recipe later, for now, I am off to the optometrist so I can get something that will help me filter all the Maplassie-post-whore shit out :D :D :D

Yeh but would you chop up the chicken before hand???? something similar to a chicken ala king but only with Pasta???
 
no you leave it whole.

having your eating partner disect the chicken him/herself while going chewy on the melon presents a nice eating "experience", wich means its memorable.

Pasta goes in the hollie.
Brilliant thing is if you get bored you can play with the chicken and make like its got worms while peeling the pasta out.

Great fun. Great food.
