Which online game has the best in-game spirit?!

COD4 has alot of moaners. MW2 aswell little kiddies, and because of no dedi's in MW2, you can get sworn badly, and they just moan non stop. BFBC2 is actually a bit more mature with some players eager to help. But by far the most helpfull / cool 2 communities I have ever seen are the Project Reality / Arma 2 Guyz, and the okes from Teamfortress 2. Granted I've only been playing TF2 for a week now, but the okes on there are chill, and they help noobs like me no problem at all. Same with the Arma / Project reality guyz. No little kiddies playing there, I have never ever ever seen a fight or even words exchange (apart from the tongue in cheek comments)
 
Yeah i have to agree with Mappy.

You get a crapload of whiners and chatters on COD4. WaW seems pretty chilled lately, havent seen too many people complaining. TF2 is always good fun, most of the time everyone playing is having a laugh at what happens in the game...
 
BF2: Project Reality was the most mature crowd I've encountered. Extreeemely helpful too - even for people on the opposing side.

It still wasn't Mappy balanced, but fun no less - as tends to be the case with slower, more strategic games. The ADD bunnyhoppers get bored quickly. :)
 
Well, after playing DotA a lot I can honestly tell you that even the CounterStrike community seems better than the local DotA community! So if you ever think a particular community is bad, just play a game of DotA and you'll seen realize how great the other communities are.

Nah honestly i reckon BC2 sometimes and generally the "big" clans in mw2 are all pretty decent guys but you get assholes everywhere. Thats just nothing you can do about it.
 
People are taking games far too seriously these days. And all the stat tracking tools / achievements / trophies do not help.

Yeah, I must say, the TF2 community has its share of total assholes (try playing Pyro around some of the clan guys; at least you're already wearing a flame-retardant suit :P), but most of the people that play locally are loads of fun.

I like it actually. Obviously some people cant take it as well as others but i love me sats. Not just game stats but things in general. And its cool to argue between your friends about your stats in a game.
 
Agree about the TF2 crowd, also playing GRAW2 is a pleasure, with no flaming, "noobing" etc that you find with other games. MW2 is simply unplayable at times with every kill being answered with noob, hax, asshole, prick etc.

Ha Kyubi I'm sure you're received a fair share of that :D It's just become totally unpleasant really. I've been lumped in with you guys a few times already...yes I die constantly but the gees is there at least.
 
I mostly like the TF2 and BC2 communities. Granted they also have the fair share of whiners but nowhere near what I experienced in CoD4 and MW2.

If people have enough time to type out "YOU KNOW I KNIFED YOU FIRST!!" then maybe they could better spend that time worrying about how they can help the team out.

I pretty much never use the chat box for anything other than "gg" or "wp". :/

At times I also get frustrated and I use the chat for the occasional "BS" or "FFS" but I haven't really used the chat for abusing other players....

Is your IGN murph as well?
 
When people constantly complain that there are hackers because they are dying so much I usually type something along the lines of "Less typing more playing/killing" - Needless to say they usually leave the server after that.
